My dad earned way less compared to my mom, he is not at all a feminine man. A guy let’s his emotions take over when needed. A man doesn’t have to bottle his emotions at all cause if he does he will be depressed and broken. Trust me I know what it feels holding feelings for 3 years in college without trusting anyone there. I talked again with some high school friends and they helped me with my head and got me on the right path again. Men talk to other men about their feelings. Nothing feminine about that.
Well if i had to break down all the 4 traits in men that are not nessecarily feminine: 1. This is just on upbringing, it just means that you have a very bright neurology and/or your hormonal levels(testesterone) are chipping up. A lot of men who take steroids experience this. Stoicism isn't about being unemotional, but more like not letting negative emotions lead your actions. Which doesn't nessecarily have to do with your emotiveness. 2. Europeans are feminine men?... I don't think this man understands what equality in relationships means 3. This just means that you like to be center of attention which isn't a bad thing because this is what the stereotype of "alpha" is about(not that it is valid, but the channel is built upon it. ) 4. This is just being courtoues and thoughtful about your partner's needs. Which is a masculine trait. Conclusion: 2 of the 4 traits are in fact masculine, while the other 2 are prevalent in masculine men. Don't let some internet alpha tell you what makes you masculine and not.
@@officialbenzine4075 Brother seek help, no where in my comment did I even mentioned anything like that. You probably need to learn how to read and evaluate more in life before you start typing.
Austin you don't know what it means to have emotional intelligence and maturity or maybe you dont know you need it as a man,I grew up with my dad and my elder brother who lacks both and trust me they wasn't there for me,I was sometimes lonely and was jealous when I see other relationship between brothers and father-sons and yeah I figured out most masculine stuffs on my own because of that. I'm not saying you should be soft or overly emotional I'm saying you should be cold hearted and emotional at the same time cause you need both in this world(50/50);As a true and masculine man you need to have emotional intelligence&maturity and you need to have that dawg, aggressive, cold heart but you need to know when to use it💯
Asking people what they don't do is not a bad thing. Saying "we're doing this whether you like it or not" is controlling, it's better and less toxic to ask people to okay it. That's just dumb.
Disagree. A masculine man is proud of his partner and takes pride in his everlasting relationship, loves cares and provides for his partner, and honours her as his other half. Find God young man. Loose the ego and cynicism, the devil made a bid for you. Just my 10 cents.
Asking what the other wants to eat or watch has nothing to do with feminists of masculinity. It's making sure your partner also wants that or making sure what ur partner wants. It's called respect. But yah I wouldn't expect you to understand
Jesus never worked or married (not a provider), he preached “love one another” and got angry from time to time (pretty emotional), he constantly surrounded himself with disciples that followed Him where ever he went (sounds needy and clingy), etc! But He’s God! I would rather be with a real man like Christ than with men today who only pretend to be masculine being all “stoic” as if you know what that actually means!
You forgot the last one. Obsession skin care facial care, defined jawline and like doing eyebrows and putting facial creams. That is all feminine traits.
Yeah this dude is like super obsessed with what he looks like but probably doesn't have any other beneficial skills in society. How did being a pretty boy become the ultimate goal of men today?
Well sire its akso good to ask your lady what she wants. Its good to be comfortable with being vulnerable to. To be vunerable you haft to achieve feeking secure enough to be vulnerable. The stronger i feel the more im willing to be vulnerable and its healthy. Its cool to welcome that side of yourself but people can also act weak with it.
Tbh to the internet right now, I exhibit all the first traits for masculinity but the last one is the hardest one to overcome. Sometimes I really don’t care where we eat lol

In this video, as I see it, this guy really gives very good advice to everyone, like, not being emotional and thinking things through, being okay with solitude and independence and being determined, but classifying certain actions as feminine is absurd, we all have certain ways. And that's why it doesn't mean that if you do x you're a woman or y you're a woman that's how I see it.
The last one though, I say that stuff because I’m trying to be polite. I want the person I’m around to be happy, not upset if I chose a shit dinner, or a shit movie. Ik people are gonna be like “oh you’re not supposed to care” but that kinda defeats the purpose of being polite.
I believe I understand your point and Austin's. From my experience, it would be best to consider your date's preferences, but it would be preferable for you to come with a variety of options for her to choose from afterwards. Ideally, you should have experience with all these choices and have data on your date beforehand (through your exchanges) to then present these options to her. It's a subtle way to lead a woman. If she feels like she's generating ideas for you all the time or taking the initiative before you, one step ahead of you, she'll feel like she's leading you and you risk the friendzone (especially on the first day of the date). She might come up with a lame excuse not to hurt your feelings. You definitely shouldn't force a choice on her or make decisions without considering her feelings; that would be toxic in her eyes. Instead, you should lead while taking her feelings into account
@@atuanyaalpheusthememeparod1605I think he called you out and offended you badly😂Your reaching so hard whats next your gonna call him feminine for breathing?

The provider thing is dependent on the reason/frame for doing that. Lots of guys go 70/30 with a girl not because they’re a “man” but because they’re scared to put their foot down and go 50/50 on things, so just want to appease their girl. Context is everything. No one would say a guy paying for their girls handbags, food, everything is more of a “man” than a guy who has financial boundaries obviously.
Everyone thinks he is a man these days and can tell you whether you are a man or not... Of course, masculinity has rules and conditions, but who are you?
Brothers, instead of trying to behave like a masculine man, just become one. You might think," well I am one", but simply speaking, the reality of thing is, the traits he mentioned jere are largely found in women. The matter of fact is, if you can build a credible source if income for yourself, provide your partner with happiness of being able to do whatever they want, and actually focusing on work rather than being commanded by you whimsical nature of whether you want to talk to your partner for the next hour or finish your work and talking to them at a break, which you took after finishing everything, depends entirely upon you. So, it's not about the final result, it's the journey which builds a man's character.
Guys sorry, but the many of you who got offended by what he said are just proving his point 😂. Only the dudes who feel targeted by what he said are defending themselves in this comments
I'm not offended, though I am concerned about the display of toxic masculinity and how it may affect young men - especially those without positive examples of masculinity in their lives. I'm a middle-aged, married, wealthy, successful, active member of my community, and a very involved father. I can see right through this bullshit video, but a young man without enough real world experience may see this and think this toxic world view is what a real man should be, and it's not. There's no point in your life where pretending to be something you're not is manly. Be the best you can be with the cards you've been dealt. Be pleasant and considerate of others. Give help when you can. Accept help when you need it. That's what being a man is about.
So merely disagreeing is being offended? I’ve read thru quite a few comments and most from what I’ve seen (keyword), they’ve been dissecting his points and disagreeing. Austin gives valid advice often, however he also generalises a lot and applies a one size fits all approach to many things. I look past that tho, just because someone says something you don’t agree with per se, doesn’t mean they don’t have any valuable information to offer you. He’s a bit cocky at times, but you can’t blame him can you 😂
@@GojoTheHonoredOne9 Except that's also him not being HIMSELF. That's him being herself if anything. A "man," doesn't do that. It's should be an obvious prerequisite to be manly before being masculine... but I guess not.

It sounds like he doesn’t speak from experience. More so that he heard something somewhere and made a list for the internet. How much emotion you feel or how emotional you get has nothing to do with how masculine you are. It’s how you control them is what dictates.
Well if i had to break down all the 4 traits in men that are not nessecarily feminine:
I don't think this man understands what equality in relationships means
3. This just means that you like to be center of attention which isn't a bad thing because this is what the stereotype of "alpha" is about(not that it is valid, but the channel is built upon it. )
4. This is just being courtoues and thoughtful about your partner's needs. Which is a masculine trait.
Conclusion: 2 of the 4 traits are in fact masculine, while the other 2 are prevalent in masculine men. Don't let some internet alpha tell you what makes you masculine and not.

I'm not saying you should be soft or overly emotional I'm saying you should be cold hearted and emotional at the same time cause you need both in this world(50/50);As a true and masculine man you need to have emotional intelligence&maturity and you need to have that dawg, aggressive, cold heart but you need to know when to use it💯
If you're happy, stay the way you are
Right! Ty!!
Women want to be equal to men and all this equality, so yea, it's 50/50 and I'm that 50/50 guy. That doesn't make a man not masculine.
Asking people what they don't do is not a bad thing. Saying "we're doing this whether you like it or not" is controlling, it's better and less toxic to ask people to okay it. That's just dumb.
If you are a human being with emotions that happens to be a man like this comment
Masculine men don’t call their girlfriend or wife a partner.
Ahahah facts
Wtf...
What do they call them?
Disagree. A masculine man is proud of his partner and takes pride in his everlasting relationship, loves cares and provides for his partner, and honours her as his other half. Find God young man. Loose the ego and cynicism, the devil made a bid for you. Just my 10 cents.

How did being a pretty boy become the ultimate goal of men today?
it's still good to take care of youself on those points, but i agree that the obsession about those things can become very negative for you

Welcome to 2024
In this video, as I see it, this guy really gives very good advice to everyone, like, not being emotional and thinking things through, being okay with solitude and independence and being determined, but classifying certain actions as feminine is absurd, we all have certain ways.
Austin just sounds feminine like what are we doing here? Lmao!

Dude that thing about asking people what they want to do is just being kind not feminine it’s chivalrous

Yes, real men dont simp for their girlfriends or let them go to clubs
@@s66s46 I totally agree

Nuh uh
Fatherless men are going to do Fatherless things and that is cry like women 😂
So merely disagreeing is being offended? I’ve read thru quite a few comments and most from what I’ve seen (keyword), they’ve been dissecting his points and disagreeing.
Austin gives valid advice often, however he also generalises a lot and applies a one size fits all approach to many things. I look past that tho, just because someone says something you don’t agree with per se, doesn’t mean they don’t have any valuable information to offer you. He’s a bit cocky at times, but you can’t blame him can you 😂
The way he expresses is very condescending. Feminity has inner enduring strength. Masculinity has outer resilience.

It sounds like he doesn’t speak from experience. More so that he heard something somewhere and made a list for the internet. How much emotion you feel or how emotional you get has nothing to do with how masculine you are. It’s how you control them is what dictates. If you’re human and a good person you’ll feel a lot of emotion. But strength is what you do with it.

I agree with Mr. Dunham. All these are true
#1 being stoic does not mean you are masculine. If you think you are logical because you do not feel emotion, you could not be more wrong. Nobody is absent of emotion. You simply cannot feel it; with more emotional insight you will learn your actions you once thought were logical are wholly driven by emotion.
