TOTALLY accurate description of the stench! I bought one so bad that it burned off my nostril hairs!! I wound up using Castille soap, washing a good 5 times, went in with regular shampoo and conditioner...THEN sitting it outside for a full day before I felt comfortable putting it on my head! Pretty unit otherwise but a hard pass until these wig companies get their act together with washing the chemicals out before shipping them. I don't want to hear about some health issues years later due to the chemicals on these wigs and how it affected black women...we got enough to worry about! ❤🙏🏿

However I did get the curly me wig and its beautiful on me but it's a little big but I work with it. I wish they had full frontals and or drawstrings to tighten the back for us small head gales

I just received my curlyme wig last week (Mongolian curly) and lost the thrill to throw it on because of the SMELL too!! It’s so strong 🥴 I’m going to try all the tips 🤞🏾
Mrs kie suggested another option for the smell 👃 of your wigs. There’s a another suggested up there in comments that says how she washed the wig and left it outside for a day ❤.

Man I was looking forward to buying it but one thing I can’t stand is a stank wig . I had some tracks installed and the smell just disturbed me so bad! I can’t stand a stank weave😢 after washing it did it get any better or a little stench was there?
Mine still has a stench which is why I sprayed it again but I was told for wigs that smell that bad, use a neutralizing shampoo. Will try. I ended up sitting my wig outside and it aired out.

I can't say for sure. Depends on how thick your hair is. I have seen it done but I dont have locs so I can't confirm the fit. It fits my 23in head but it is snug
Not this one. I tried the mongolian kinky curly. It is looser. This is the afro kinky, tighter curls. I have an update video posting on this one on the last friday of this month.
Hey hun! I mentioned the difference in video, but the kinky curly is looser than the afro kinky. Even though it is NOT thick in texture (thick density), the more i wear the afro kinky, i love the way it looks. I have worn the afro curly wig more too.
I have tried 3 cuely me wigs. First kinky curly(loose), waterwave, and this afro kinky curly(tighter). They are all beautiful. It depends on the texture you are going for. I tend to like anything that has a tighter curls for the lift and volume it has.
I love it. Very pretty curls. I wonder why some company's wigs don't have an awful smell and others do. I dont have a broad experience yet, but I have noticed. I would be curious if there is a comment from the company. It does make me think twice and thrice....as I really do have a sensitive nose. 🥺 Thanks and I did read a comment about ACV.
Hi Kie. I’m new to the wig game and have a question. After applying Nairobi to your hair and styling, what speed and temperature for the hairdryer do you use to diffuse the hair? Also if the wig is still damp you use the hairdryer on cool/high? Is that right???

Once fully dried down it gives texture but NOT what I think you are wanting. This is a looser curl that is easier to manage but still gives the washngo look. If you are looking for realistic Thick TEXTURED HAIR, shop with HergivenHair or CurlsCurls. Noone else is doing natural KINKY CURLY texture like them.
Ordered my first unit from them, they got paid but never received the unit, they won't even respond to my emails!! This is not good business...communication is key
Hunnie, may I know your order number? Because a lot of fake CurlyMe Hair companies have popped up recently, they make false advertising all over the social medias. They don't ship don't have customer service either. Many of our customers fell for it. This has had a very bad effect on our CurlyMe Hair.
This is a long 20 inch wig. I ordered an 18 inch from a company (NOT CURLY ME) and got a 14 inch at best. I argued them down because there was not 1 18 inch strand on the whole wig, even stretched! I had pictures and everything. They gave me back half my money because they knew they were wrong. Anyway, this unit is lovely but sorry about the smell. Hopefully that will be fixed in the future. 💚
The measurement of wigs is really off and on with these brands. Some will literally neasure from top of wig to last tip of wig. That gives the "inches". Whole time not ONE steand is the actual length of the wig. I learned the tricks early on. For the smell, they claim it was packaging and will work on that. Hopefully they do!
All 20 inch 180% density is not created equal even within the same company 😢😢 my 20 inch stretched is not the same I reached out to curly me and they gave me the basic blah blah blah

I'm not standing in wind so it is fine. The band helps. Just spray it down if you need more security

This was a stronger smell than usual. Mosy are not this strong. Hairvivi wigs dont.
