Hmm! Oh my tight spots like this can definitely test how good a drivers backing skills are! Good job indeed on getting into position. But I must say that a front over hang load of steel is scary without a headache rack. #keepontruckin 👍🏼
That is a beautiful truck. However, I'm more mesmerized by the trailer. Never seen a trailer like that. Awesome combo! Why didn't anyone spot for you when backing into their shop?
a headache rack would act almost as a ramp to get it over the driver or at the minimum a speed bump regardless of how heavy the load is. Beautiful rig and awesome skills. (I'd still have a headache rack). Would rather have it and not need it than need it and be dead. 🤷♂️
First impression -- Damn nice! Second impression -- Damn NICE! First one was for the truck and the trailer, second one was for the getting it in there.
Yeah buddy!! Dont need me to tell you! Your a professional driver backing that skateboard in there!! Very well done. Now I know why they place so much emphasis on offset back to the right and offset back to the left. Obviously if you didn't have the fence you would have pulled forward for a straight line back lol .You got it in the hole so you pretty much nailed it
My uncle has a 2020 389 stretched 18 speed cummins under the beautiful long hood and he's got chrome all over it all just had Hodgebuilt full radious fender put on the drives its a green that peterbuilt offers and it really stands out. People are always looking taking pictures. Love to see hoods they are disappearing and so are real drivers
Skills. You Made it look easy. I used to deliver there in a daycab w/ a 48footer when I drive for NW STEEL AND PIPES. The old dude that does the receiving there is nice.
Remember! No matter how hard a place is trying to get in to or how many times it takes you to get it in there......your rig is nice man and looks good doing it! It's all the more people get to enjoy laying their vision upon it! All others can keep their cracker jack box rigs that turn on a dime . If everything thing you did was easy it would get dull. You did your thing , good job!
Lol people have no shame. They will run a business out of a damn telephone booth in the middle of downtown and expect 53 foot trailers delivering there all the time.
That is how you do it. ITs like parking a small car in a parking spot but with a stretch pete and 53 ft trailer. Great job getting that Trailer in the shop.
Observe on the approach get out and look at your surroundings position your truck start backing and get out make sure you are on the right path means success in backing good job brother
Might just be me but stretched trucks are okay looking but when they're used for something like this where the load over hangs in the front I think it just makes them look amazing. People could hate me for what I say but stretch for a purpose is way cooler than stretch for style.
I wish I could post a picture of me backing in a sub station with a a-250 with over 80 tires I would get some likes but I don’t need glorifying! Good job driver !!!! We need more like you👍
Once again making it look easy. If you lifted the front axle on the trailer also with the steer on the back would it pivot better? I'm asking out of my own curiosity. Might be time to invest in a flip kit for that bumper
It turns the tightest with the front axle down and I always lift the rear to back up. They don’t make a flip kit for the 18” bumper I got. So far the bumper has been the least of my concerns lol!
I was asking because I was thinking 🤔about tire scrub like on spread axle flatbed. From what I can tell the truck looks lowered in the front and I know some curbs can be high.
@@robertstillman585 yeah exactly there’s so many places where you’re that tight to things and pushing the bumper out might only help if you’re jumping curbs lol
Solid work. Hit a couple of odd ball holes like that before. I remember one in Oregon and one in Tennessee for Alcoa. The one at Alcoa outside of Knoxville was completely blacked out until you got to a certain point but I got use to it after a while. I miss that company. I got paid extremely well but I had to move to another state. I use to drive up into Canada for that one. Best job of my life was working and living on a dive boat. We dove for conk on the reefs of Jamaica and docked in Kingston. I lost my Uncle and the captain cheated me on my pay but I wouldn't trade the experience for the money (-:
Oh hell yeah! If you're able to bring your steel hauling flatbed, that would be killer. If not, then definitely the roll top is the way to go, in my opinion.
He showed the difference between a driver and an operator. Great Job.
He showed the difference between a truck driver and a professional truck driver.
Gotcha. Bro showed tf out!!!
That’s gotta be the prettiest flatbed trailer I’ve ever seen, and a good looking truck.
Yep, she shiny!
Awesome video and thanks for not blasting music it was nice to hear the real sounds Thank You for posting
Damn impressive tractor, trailer, and driving skills!

Headache racks dont do anything for a load that heavy

Damn!! That truck!! That trailer!! Them skills!!

Bad ass rig & bad ass driver 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
That is gotta be nicest flatbed trailer I've ever seen, and that Pete, you clearly earned and deserve it

Thats what she said! LOL
Lot of respect for a man who can back like that
The Seattle Industrial areas got some real tight spots. Excellent work!
That’s how you do it . Great job . I myself like the challenging stops.😎
that's nasty!! the setup, the approach, and most importantly the execution!👍

You have mastered your craft !
Smooth ass rig! Nice job!
That receiver ought to be ashamed of themselves for this setup. Excellent backing though!
I would have taken the fence down if I was the receiver owner
Its like some receivers intentionally build an obstacle course for drivers to get into.😑
Lol people have no shame. They will run a business out of a damn telephone booth in the middle of downtown and expect 53 foot trailers delivering there all the time.

RESPECT
That was pretty easy but I been driving large cars for 24 years. Nice ride boss...😎
I've worked in a Sheetmetal shop and seen some great feats such as this. Salute
Wow looks beautiful! Looks even easier to back into!!! But sacred to scratch 1/2 million dollars
Nice Job driver. I love how the front overhang of the beam was brushing the ivy on the fence. I can tell that is tight.
That was amazing driving !!!
Observe on the approach get out and look at your surroundings position your truck start backing and get out make sure you are on the right path means success in backing good job brother
A true Professional, well done!!!
Nicely done!! Some serious professional skills at work there!
Damn....Great job. That is very awkward spot to back in.👍👍👍
Yeah it’s a pretty weird of set back
Superb parking skills. Beautiful truck.
Thats what you call experiance!! A hell of a driver
Beautiful set up. I hope their flat bed trailers are better built than there end dump trailers
That is a great looking rig & driving skills to match!
Might just be me but stretched trucks are okay looking but when they're used for something like this where the load over hangs in the front I think it just makes them look amazing.
People could hate me for what I say but stretch for a purpose is way cooler than stretch for style.
Wow. You handle your truck 👍👍. Good job. 👍
That’s one thing I’ve found to be a bit of a pain with stretched frames the limitations on the place’s you can fit into. But they do look good 👍
They sure look good going down the boulevard.
Holy crap that was a dam good job and very beautiful and badass rig !
I wish I could post a picture of me backing in a sub station with a a-250 with over 80 tires I would get some likes but I don’t need glorifying! Good job driver !!!! We need more like you👍
Very nice job, a TRUE PRO,,, he got out to check and LOOK.. two important items that are neglected these
days. Old school pro training for sure..
Now that’s some skill right there. 👍👍👍
5 tar backing!!! Your simple the best!!!
Look at the bright side, No gravel lot dust.
Got that right lol
I was like this guys sucks, hold my beer. Shows me what he backed it up into, “give me my beer back” 😂
Thats what she said! Great looking truck.
Great driving skillz brother bless up from Kingston Jamaica 🇯🇲
Skillful driver, one bad ass Pete.💪🏽
That’s a badass rig my G✊🏾
Thank you
You made that look easy. Damn good job👊🏾👍🏾
Give that man a cigar! Awesome!
I love you Channel and your Peterbilt

Yea but if he could flip the front bumper it wouldn't of helped in that case because it would of hit the fence if it was flipped out.
@@robertstillman585 yeah exactly there’s so many places where you’re that tight to things and pushing the bumper out might only help if you’re jumping curbs lol
@@trucking4racecars lmao😲😲😲 ok curb jumper hahahahaha
That’s what you call having the skills to pay the bills.
That’s what you call a driver!!!
Now\ That is a very nice rig,if ever I saw one,just beautifull.
No cap your truck is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
He'll of a job that is one sweet ride
Damm son....low pros on the trailer too...that's gangsta

Love the truck !!! You can definitely drive 👍
I've been in that area before, alot of cool shops and businesses around there !

Thoes rims are awesome on the rig especially the rear sets. Nice truck man
😳😳 Those switch backs on the reverse!!!😍😍
That was very well executed nice job operator.
I thought it was illegal not to have a headache rack on the tractor for loads like this
SEAHAWKS💯 Great Videos's keep up the Kickass Work🍻👏👍

Lowe_Kameran on Instagram
Pretty damn good. That a badass 389
You should bring your truck down to the Truckin' For Kids Show in 2-weeks in Irwindale, CA. I'd love to get video of it.
I will be there bro! 🍻 can’t wait!! Just trying to figure out what trailer to bring… roll top or van
Oh hell yeah! If you're able to bring your steel hauling flatbed, that would be killer. If not, then definitely the roll top is the way to go, in my opinion.
@@espeescotty I’m just gonna bring my old van for the freight that I have to haul down and back… I’ll get it looking pretty
Right, I gotcha. Better to make some dough on the run down than to spend it. See you there!
Good driving that chap .
Great Job man 👍
Very smooth ride brother ! My W9 is alittle so I was feeling your stress just a tad, lol
Hey Swift…. Pay attention! This is how you backup!!
They can't afford to pay attention
That set up is so sick 🔥
How much do you have invested?
