Im shocked not many actually knew about that haha. It works its not the greatest and can take a good amount of time depending on how long your videos you are trying to stack
❤ I will be ordering some parts from you but I have one question before ordering the battery pack holder what battery pack are you using I've noticed some that are thicker than what it looks like on your holder to make sure that it fits or maybe what size is the holder the inside dimensions so I make sure the battery pack I buy fits
Thanks for the info. I just ordered the $20 kit. Maybe this will help with the street light across the street and neighbors garage lights. I hope the quality is there for a snug fit for the dew shield and the filter holder. Maybe with shipping, it’s a little more than I’d want to spend but still cheaper than buying a 3D printer and figuring out how to run it.
Oh yeah my dew shield fits very snug since I made them a little more thick so ita very sturdy. That's what takes the longest to print out of the set. I can print 4 kits at a time and it takes about 8 hours to complete it. That PETG material I use is super durable and heat resistant. I thought about stepping it up further with the carbon fiber addition but I have to get the right nozzle for that one. Appreciate the support! It really means alot. And of course if there happens to be any issues with any of the products I cover it for free to make it right
how many photos are being taken in the 1 minute exposure and how long is each exposure? does that film filter have to be nice and flat? is it really film?
Well inside the seestar uses the Sony imx462 color sensor which shoots at 136 frames per second. For how many frames it takes in the minute you cant tell within the seestar app but normally when I do 1 minute videos I get about 3000 frames. The film does not need to be perfectly flat. It's very thin so it will flex a bit it is film. This is the film I use for the filters when I make them into the housing. www.highpointscientific.com/baader-planetarium-visual-astrosolar-safety-film-5-5-x-6-1-sheet-asolv-e?BAD-ASOLV-E
Yes! its not the absolute best results unlike if you stack within like autostakkert but its quick on the go when needed without needed to upload to your computer.
Your solar filter is impressive ! I may buy it when I order the S50, probably very soon ! For sure, I will need all the objects you have shown. I wonder if you would find an easy solution to use the S50 in equatorial mode including a polar star tracker. The cost for equatorial mount are above the price of this telescope. Ah if I were able to design such object for a 3D printer. But I can't !
I really wish they come up with a EQ routine that's native. I know people have found ways to do so by lying about there location and use a star tracker base. I love the modded solar filter, make a huge difference. i.etsystatic.com/53996058/r/il/070ccd/6288404129/il_1140xN.6288404129_gwgg.jpg
Nope neither, in Delaware haha. Harvest season going full motion. I have so many grain trucks going by the house. Not to mention a tractor in the field next to me with cabbage trying to film. There was so many retakes because of extremely loud semi's going by haha
I was ambivalent re the Neewer leveller, but after using it I don't know what I did without it. Great value.
Out of any accessory for the seestar, it's not a want, it's a need 100% it's a game changer and makes the leveling process a breeze
Thanks. Just ordered the solar filter and the battery holder. Appreciate the video.
I didn't even know you could stack video of the sun.i was just taking photos 😂

@@Vic-pz5oh never thought about it. Kinda makes sense to shoot it that way

@@jerryeubanks491 Hey there. So this will fit a width of 32mm or about 1.5 inches wide. The depth from the bottom to the top is about 100mm ~4in
Thanks for the info Hunter. Definitely will be getting the dew package. Now if the skies will just clear
Love the solar finder. I have two Seestars so I'm always interested in more accessories. Great video!
@theinterstellarfeller it's super helpful when the seestar can't find the sun by itself which had been more often lately with the new updates.
I have one with a synta dovetail that I use with normal scopes.

Great video and nice accessories
What type and product name is the external battery pack?
Hey Hunter, I didn’t see the link so how do I order these?
Here is a direct link to the shop. And I think that was you who just placed a order. outtenastroprints.etsy.com
Seestar internal stacking will do video? I didn't know that. Thanks.

@@OuttenAstrophotography I've always liked the result I got using ASI Studio video processing stacker...

Great comparison and review. Video production very professional too. Question. How does the S50 do with something like a comet?
Does very well. Captured plenty of comets this year with the seestar.
here is a example of Pons-Brooks from this year ibb.co/PxwpjxJ
@@OuttenAstrophotography thank you very much
My seestar s50 won't connect to the internet, it's unusable...
You meant "with very little effort ", not "ease"😊
"It has a camera on the inside of here, which will able to do astrophotography with very little ease."
So it's not easy to take pics of the night sky?
Just teasing. I say the opposite of what i mean to say all the time.
As a professional millennial truck driver, you either live in ohio or indiana 😂
