Having one of these ponds would just melt away the stresses of life. Completely change your home living style. Get outside so much more than being indoors next to the TV. Mad respect for the artistry!!
Please do a video on the maintenence of a pond....like what all you add in monthly basis...i remeber hearing about adding a bacteria culture to keep string algae away
Here's info on pond maintenance through the seasons. Yes, you want to add beneficial bacteria - we have an Automatic Dosing System that does it for you. www.aquascapeinc.com/water-gardening/maintenance-and-care
My husband and I extended the deck with plans to put the pond in our backyard. He tore 1/4 of the old deck away for a destination overhang. This video gave me the idea of a deck over the pond, and keep an area clear to access the fish. Thank you for the bucket bullet.
My favourite part is EVERYTHING. You guys are awesome. My partner lives in IL and I am in Canada, so ...so ironic that you are in IL. We bought a farm property in Canada together. I just built a small shallow pond, its only two feet deep but at least I have fish to look at now! Will need a bigger one before winter for the fishies. Mine doesn't even compare to your ponds yet, I am still building my berm for my awesome waterfall. I purchased some of your food for the fish here in Canada, so cool. Aquascape food. I am 50 years old next week and still building my own ponds LOL . I am thinking I need four, One for the back of the property, a swimming pond, a small one for the ducks at the side of the house , a huge one in the front, and of course making the one I just made bigger in the back yard. I am thinking I will take your Aquascape course. I need to learn more. Thank you for all that you do. I am thinking I need to catch up and get to watching all your vids.
The best company building the pound not only for the business but also helping nurture by giving the best pound water and place for other living thing in this planet call home too!!
The first water feature as a whole is beautiful. But all the minor details bring it all together. The vines with the flowers, the rock with the hole at 6:50 that allows water to flow through it. Great job with the details.
I absolutely love all your videos. I would love an idea about making a pond to honour our son like a memory garden pond. We lost him ten years this coming October to an aneurysm he was 33yrs old. Such a handsome young man he became an organ donor he is our hero, he saved six lives and the sight of two. Kisses goodnight as always Mike.
My favorite with the 2nd home is how the water goes under the porch and the red water pump. I also like the pondless with the granite. It looks like petrified wood. I'm so envious and wish I could have such a beautiful hideaway. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
My favorite part is all of it it's so beautiful I wish everyone had a pound in there yard I no I want one when I get my own home thank you for sharing God bless you always have a beautiful day
I love that stone bridge over the pond, just wonderful. I really appreciate that tip on the feeding ring that is great. Of course the 1st pond is massive and incredible. The plants on ALL the ponds in your video's are just so amazing. I'm a master gardener who loves plants! I love the old water pump pouring water into the pond killer pond!
Greg once again, works of living art. Thank you for giving me something to relax to.Brian has such an eye for creating 3D masterpieces using natural things to make them look like they have not been placed there so much as they were always there. The fish in the second pond made all the difference in a most positive way.
AMAZING Yard... Love Brian's secret garden approach! "this path takes you on a journey" and check out the "Extra - Bonus Waterfall". The stone bridge is awesome too!
Great video! I can agree when sitting on your patio and the water is so close up that you can hear and see it is really awesome! Reminds me of Paul’s house
I liked the hidden back 40 of the 1st pond. I'd turn it into an orchard, but the seclusive intimacy of the second pond is a slam dunk for me!! Way to go Brian... He shoots... He scores:)
My favorites in the first pawn are the main waterfall.. love it, the little jet that peaks out between the rocks, and that bridge! I cannot wait to one day get my own pond from Aquascape! 😊
Hi Greg, i really love your work and not at least your energi. Thank you so much for making these videos! Keep up the good work! And hey! I love turtles too! Hehe, have a great day, you and your team :)
Two absolutely gorgeous water features! The only thing I would do different with the first one would be an upgrade of some of those balsamic stones that are so beautiful in a fountain effect and oh yeah they've got a big backyard so I'd add a rec pond to it! LOL
Hi Gregg, greetings from the UK, I started watching your VLOG's a couple of weeks ago and I've almost caught up with all of them, I'm blown away buy the skill of your contractors, I'd love to have a large pond in my back yard but finances won't allow it for a couple of years and I'll have to do all the work myself, I'll certainly be looking to purchase your products if I can find a cheap way to ship them here. I'm looking at an upfilter bog area leading to a waterfall into a 16'x10'x4' pond I'd love to learn more about your system. Rich Baker
Greg Wittstock, I've searched online but couldn't find any, can they supply aqua blocks, skimmer etc? I'd never be able to afford to have my pond built professionally
I'm fascinated by the whole thing, I'm getting ready do build one of these next to some elms and I just have no idea how I want to design it so ots all self sustaining
Sadie - I've been to the Shedd Aquarium many times. In fact, we installed three water features at the Shedd. The first one is in the back by the patio with a stunning view of the Chicago skyline. The most recent one you'll see at the circular drive in front. We shared a video about it - be sure to check it out while you're there! ua-cam.com/video/ED4D3lgWruE/v-deo.html
Greg Wittstock, The Pond Guy That's so cool! I'll try to look for them when I go and tag you in the pictures if I post them! And I'll watch the video right now.
Favorite part is how there’s everything. Large trees all the way down to creeping ground cover. Not just a pond in a yard. Same thing with the size of rocks.
Greg, I gotta have my little retreat, plants too. It’s as if he was in my head and heart. Iv wanted to do this for at least 20 years but had back surgery and couldn’t do the manual labor, I found out that I had no idea what I was doing, lol. Now we’re retiring and it’s time for a professional so I can have my little place of heaven.
My pond is a bad one I feel bad for the fish, I didn't build it right and I can't afford to build a nice one, im trying to sale some of my stuff, so I can make a new one above ground
We have a small yard but I have seen peeps turn their small yards to make like they go on forever that is my idea with a creek and a water fall oh one can dream .
Yeh. It seem like they're fighting to see who can keep talking. It's very hard to enjoy the pond and it beauty seeing those men trying to grab our attention by keep talking and talking. Speaking of grabbing our attention, I have suggestion for this particular pond set up. Don't use different flower color. Stay all green with large leaf. I have a headache as my mind try to scan the surrounding and my mind keep fighting on what I should focus on.
My favorite part was when Brian was explaining how Clematis (my favorite flowering plant) will turn into ground cover and then you cut him off. My family was very upset because we wanted to know more.

I always get kind of frustrated when something this big bold and beautiful does not have fish in it, so I’m glad they added the goldfish !
I want this but on a smaller scale, who do I talk to in my area
Love this
