I love my Python so Much, despite how long I've played the game it has to be my Favorite ship, I've invested so much Engineering into it I almost never want to touch anything else and it practically cannot Die unless multiple powerful ships are shooting at it at the same time, even in it's early stages I was able to go face to face with an NPC Corvette and Win
Seeing you kill a Fucking Hydra without a SHIELD in this beauty was absolutely Badass and just makes me love it more
I mean, I killed an NPC Corvette in a half engineered vulture, but the python is definitely a good ship, so far she's been my dedicated mining and part time hauling ship

I’m not a big Python fan, but watching you take down a bunch of angry space starfishes with one was still impressive as hell.
One of my favorite things about the python’s cockpit is the fact it feels like a luxury SUV in vr.
Now there's a cockpit view I'm familiar with.
haha yes it is very similar to the other Cobra :) I ithnk the coloring or lights may be slightly different but overall they are identical ;)

The python is the one ship I have never sold in all my years in Elite. When the role that i had her do got moved to a bigger ship.. I have always found a role for my python.
I love this video. I learned so much about python combat. I just grinded out all the guardian tech, flew to coalsack, and tried fighting a (cyclops? Basilisk?) and got wrecked.
I've never flown with FA off before, and also my engines aren't engineered... what an amazing difference that makes, can't believe I've been sleeping on those.
Where did you go to grind all the mats you need for guardian stuff? Did you have a guide you followed? I’m about to do the same

It took a while and was very boring. For the obelisk scan data, you should find a ruins site and park yourself next to the obelisks and just scan them and log out repeatedly... can't do that in the linked areas due to the sentinels.

6:55 I'm having this problem a lot recently. I was killing a cyclops and for whatever reason I could not kill the 2nd heart, shot after shot after shot after shot on target with 0 effect. After 3 exertions and no heart kill, I deemed the cyclops invincible and was forced to leave the AX conflict zone.
yeah the 'invincible heart bug' is a thing sadly - it has been documented for years but Fdev seem unable to find the cause - happens mostly in wing fights but can occur in AXCZs for sure
@@Citizen_Kate bummer. No choice but to keep trying though. I didn't think I could kill a cyclops/basilisk duo and did it on my first try yesterday. Motivation to keep going!
But I'm out of Mats. Time to grind. Hopefully the war doesn't end before I'm done grinding mats, I always miss these incursions and want to partake in more

I love the Python, and it's my go-to multirole ship, but wouldn't even consider it for fighting interceptors. Then again, I'm nowhere near your level of proficiency in AX combat.
I do, however, have a Python permanently stationed in the Pleiades that's outfitted specifically for fighting Scouts, and I find that it works marvelously in that capacity.
Same, I wouldn't have any other ship for mission running, but it's not in my top five for AX ships.
Im a huge phyton fan, and hope i could get a private chat to help me set up my python for ax fight.

haha well there isn't really a need to review the chieftain, i've used it so often anyone can see it's the best AX ship of all :P I will do one though just for you haha

python is the best mid size multi roll ship not best over all lol
