@@mediochrist step 1) don't sleep. If u don't sleep u can never wake up feeling miserable
Great content !
Great video. I love the emphasis on repetition with tiny tweaks now and again. I also love the recommendation of experimentation, observation, and analysis as you go. I think this leads to getting the “feel” of any trick one is trying to learn. I have not had the pleasure of practicing kendama with my Mom (or in my case it would be my partner) hollering “dinner time” in the background… now that’s a luxury🤣 Border Balance is beyond my skill set atm, but, as per ushe, I enjoyed all the helpful feedback that you gave as you worked towards progressing with this trick. Thanks for all the time and effort that you put into making these awesome vids. Ⓜ️ary (who also loves to yoyo but is not going to use the yoyo emoji in this comment.)
I'm still trying to get over the fact that the yoyo emoji holds that much power😂 I like to show the raw journey towards learning something new, so I'm glad that comes across! (and dinner time is also great motivation lol)
I am learning boarders balance as well and I have landed a few long ones but I have some great tips that I used when just starting out. If you can get blue tack, put some on spike and it helps the ken not slip off. Also practice just holding the spike on the ken and let go while balancing the spike the tama as much as you can before you learn the pull up (it helped me so much in the long run) When u are balancing the ken, look at the base cup and use very small adjustments with your whole arm. When you do the pull up shift your focus from the spike to the base cup hole. Hope u land it soon.
Ayee some great tips, glad to hear you're nailing them down! So much goes into this trick haha. Shifting to the basecup I think is the biggest thing, that's helped me get longer balances. Thanks for the tips dude and I'll keep grinding!
Great job dude it’s really cool that you got a full time job
