It might be because Yujin is the centre during the dance break which has a lot of hairography (hair flips) so she would need her hair down to give a good performance? Just my opinion though because I've wondered the same thing aha

Yeah. The favoritism was apparent during Eleven era because it was a marketing strategy to attract new fans. But during Love Dive era, all the members seem to be given equal treatment re: clothes and hairstyles, and even line distribution and center time!
I think Starship learnt from their mistake because as we can see, during Love Dive era, Annyeongz's outfits are not as contrasting as Eleven era 😂
