- So here we are, musing on a NYC night. Nearly 130 days since the horrors of Gaza began. And like many celebrities, Valorie Curry hasn't said a thing to stop the horrors in her own voice. As you can see, it's not because she can't.
This plea during the run up to local elections in 2022 was both heartfelt and compelling. I honestly rather liked her then. Times change. People reveal themselves.
So why the passionate plea?
It's because this affected her. If there was something that impacted LGBTQ issues, she'd be right there. Speaking out. And good for her in doing so.
But when it comes to brown people and their suffering? The deaths of thousands in Gaza? The obliteration of whole families? Of women? Children?
Silence. This is Whyte Feminism at it's worst. This is Patriarchy being served by their own handmaidens who think themselves liberals and progressives.
This is celebrity and how out of touch they are with their audiences and in love with their money.
Happy Birthday Valorie Curry. I hope that big empty house is exactly what you want. And may you get what you deserve.
Well thats the liberal ideology for you. Sucks that she was married before and her performance as Kara was really good and made me believe she'll be a wonderful mother . Guess actors are called actors for a reason. Hopefully it's not too late for her. Christ is king 👑

Sure. What I've seen is that her activism entirely performative. If it's not something socially "safe" or a cause that directly affects her, she'll give lip service support. Check her IG feed. It's been over 280 days since the Z's started their genoc*de in Gaza. Not one damn thing. All about her brand. At the most, a shared story.
It's about the money for her.
