Why on earth are these videographers shooting angles and far away shots...the dance is frontwards...all front details in which we'll see other moves too...only video the front please.
The spotlight was blowing out some of those shots. The only ones with high detail were the closeups. It would have been nice to get the full-length shot that wasn't blown out. I imagine they didn't have a dimmer switch on that spotlight? The performance was damn amazing.

Doing this with your eyes closed is beyond difficult...just try walking with your eyes closed across a floor, you lose your balance. This is my favorite exotic dance I have ever seen, by far. Incredible and awesome!

Yes, especially showing people in the wings of the stage. It completely ruined the atmosphere. Why would they ruin such a hypnotic performance? This would have been stunning had it been shot from the audience's angle of vision.

Это с виду все легко выглядит, потому что танцор суперпрофессионал... А вообще обучаться начинают в детстве, и учатся 10 лет, прежде чем назваться танцором

Some really inspired choreography going on in tribal fusion, when they make a collection of seminal performances this one is definitely going to be right in there. There is the subtext of taking an ancient style like temple dancing and breathing new life into it, allowing it to live in this new form. Just brilliant, witty and accomplished.
That is one of the most beautiful and amazing dancers I have seen, SO CREATIVE! She looked like she embodied the Goddess, she truly captured the spirit in the dance! Thank you for sharing it! I am forever changed by it....I just love art in every form!

Bloody hell! I did belly dancing for 12 years, and I have seen so many performances over the years, but I’ve never seen anything as compelling or as weird not to mention skilled as this! It was like some alien goddess portrayed in a movie about an ancient civilisation… That’s all I’ve got. I was sucked into the wormhole of solaris tribal dancing, thanks for the random suggestion youtube. This is by far my favorite one. The headdress is fabulous, the gray body paint and dust makes this feel like a statue come to life. The white contacts are hella trippy and perfect. Sure the camera ppl got a little crazy with all the angle changes. The music is perfect, dancing excellent, bravo whomever put this together.
I think I watched this many times when it came out. It popped into my head today, and I had to remember how to search for it, but I'm so glad I found it. This performance is amazing. I have to come back and watch it every once in a while because it is so mesmerizing.
