Yes this is one of Lucy's best & thats saying something!,check out her latest release 'A whiter shade of pale' first released by Procal Harum in 1967,Lucy's lower register shines through!,a pleasure to the senses!,Lucy is one of the finest around,& certainly my favourite,a beautiful soul!💖
Hi King...Your comments on Lucy are spot on! She has a magnetic attraction as by the aura that she emanates and it comes right through our screens. We are somewhat hypnotized by it in a very pleasant way. When I listen to Lucy she makes every single word in the song special. The way she perfectly elongates the words and shapes her tones sounds like perfection.
Lucy’s voice here is soft as an easy chair with a harp playing beside the warm cosy fire. Credit to Babs for co-writing it and originally singing it. Catch Lucy in other songs not just holding a note but singing continuously in a single sharp breath. I suggest stepping back in Lucy’s wardrobe and listen ‘Run’ aged 15. No matter how many times I watch this it always captivates. This might pull you to Lucy’s other ballads from 15 to 16.
Thank you for all your reactions. I would love to see you experience Lucy and Martha’s powerful version of ‘The Prayer’. Both the same age as they were when they sang O’Holy Night. You were quite moved by that…..The Prayer is quite simply utterly divine.
There is only one Lucy Thomas. She has this way of very softly grabbing your soul with every song. I have never seen anything like it in my life. Have a very happy new year.
Now you have to listen to her next cover of 60's psychedelic rock classic "A Whiter Shade of Pale". Her lower range just beautiful. In addition the video is just beautiful.
Kings, "A Star is Born" was made four times: the original, a non-musical, was released in Technicolor in the 1930s with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March; it was redone as a musical with Judy Garland in the '50s, and with Barbra Streisand in the 70s, then finally with Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in 2018.
Hello Kings 003 this song is one of Lucy's best, and it will be so hard to beat, but wait she has just released an iconic classic " A Whiter Shade Of Pale " which was released by a British group called Procal Harlom in 1967. she sings this cover in her low voice which is so different, so you will need to react to it. Happy New Year Barbara.
If you really want to see Lucy's sheer talent which just can't be contained, check out her rendition of colours of the wind, done when she was only 9 years old. It's the earliest video from Lucy that can be seen. ua-cam.com/video/-d9MjGRokys/v-deo.html
Lucy sings this Paul Williams and Barbra Streisand song better than Barbra. When I was young, I doubted that anyone would ever sing better than Barbra, but Lucy does on ever song! Lucy is the best female vocalist on the planet. We are blessed to witness some of her early career. Hopefully, the world will soon wake up to what real musicality and talent is possessed by Lucy. She is simply the best.
no one could sing this any better than Lucy Thomas it is the the most amazing cover i have ever hears . thanks for your comments

Another one to get lost in is Lucy singing,
"The way we were". She is awesome!
Yes, Lucy's rendition of "The Way We Were" at about age 18 is stunning in every way.

They are angelic you must check out the prayer by Lucy and Martha
Lucy’s in a class by herself. By the way, somewhere along the line you’re going to have to listen to The Prayer.

Such a long last note yet Lucy was still able to add a controlled vibrato.

@@johncollins392 Maybe but you very rarely hear her intakes of air,
