I listened to this series several times. Thanks BBC for this awesome work. I felt like been taken by the hand and guided through this complex mission.
Little mistake in the images: The control room shown in the short video is not the MOCR in Houston, but one of the firing rooms at KSC.

a few thing had to happen according to plan, but in the end it did come down to the pilots, and engineers on board the spacecraft.
Gene Kranz was not a Marine. He was a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force, not the Marines.
