To be honest it's hard to choose between Philippines and Singapore. The scenery outside Singapore stadium is mesmerizing but fireworks in Philippines is much more beautiful.

Setting aside my nationality, Singapore is the best. From cauldron lighting to Fireworks. Maganda yong fireworks ng Philippines, yong cauldron lighting lang ang common. Malaysia did a great Job too. So my Top 3 would be Singapore - Malaysia - Phillipines. Congrats to the Host Countries and Athletes. 💕💕

@@nambeherpo8144 budget is not the issue here lol. Its how the athletes enjoyed the opening and closing ceremony, won medals and show sportsmanship. We don't have that advance technology but the energy of our crowd and performers are way way better than the previous edition of sea games. Infact the performers in both opening and closing ceremony are know in the world especially in music industry. Some of them are HOLLYWOOD stars and already a legend in their respective genre😊. Try to research kid.
For everyone's information, Philippines won gold in Germany, France and Canada where Pyrolmpics fireworks competition were all held against first world countries. Philippines best 🇵🇭 check out dragon fireworks 2013, also 2017 and 2018 and others.

@Lighting Emperor I'm referring both the Opening and Closing Fireworks Display for me was the best of all SEA Games History but when you say about the Closing Ceremony, it may not be the best but spectacular drone display was amazing and the performance level of Black Eyed Peas Rocks! BTW, the Opening Ceremony of 30th SEA Games Philippines 2019 Hosting was the best of the best! It was the most viewed Opening Ceremony ever and showcasing the World-Class Filipino Talents.

@@bratboi2431 im one of the volunteers in the sea games and isa sa mga nag party with the athletes in the closing ceremony. Sobrang saya ng naging event and kakaiba ang experience. Maybe sa mga nanonood lang sa tv, di nila ganun ka feel yung nangyayari pero sa aming mga volunteer and the athletes who've been part of this sea games, I can say that what PH had for us was the best. Sobrang saya na nagparty lang ang lahat. It broke the tradition of closing ceremonies ng sea games because in this one, everyone fully enjoyed the night.
2005 clip should have shown the one in Quirino Grandstand in Manila which the opening ceremony was held. Not in Cebu

The 2005 sea games has many opening ceremonies since it is spread throughout the country, first in bacolod before soccer starts, and I think the second in cebu before some sport events starts, I believe sports that are not.located in manila did their own opening ceremony as well before some events starts, but the main opening ceremony of the 2005 sea games is in qurino grandstand manila and after that all sports began

The thing with the 2019 is there was no actual torch lighting (Pacman just pointed at the cauldron) and it was pre recorded and that show as seen in this video was not shown like that during the opening ceremony itself. It was so quick, less than a minute.

Pina uwi sila at dahil daw walang magiging ganap dun. At yung nangyaring lighting days before test run lang daw yun. Yun pala yun na yun! Nire record na! Ang dami sana gusto makita yung lighting na yun ng live. Parang na loko sila.
