That's the true history of Catalina de Indias...
She was a brave indigenous woman from Colombia who was a translator between indigenous people and Spanish conquistadors and she was interpreter of both.
Through me, i want to tell you her own story 'cause i know few people know her and it is necessary to know about her role in the history, she wasn't disloyal as she was labeled...❤
I really appreciate ur commmet here.

Good day Esmerelda hope you having a good day.
Thank you for replying so soon dear.
Yes I would love to know more of Catalina.
      Is her real name Katalydeyewua?
I know yes even if media say it's true events , they don't know really know what happened during those centuries. I don't always believe the media because I'm a woman who needs the facts .
I was so emotional watching her life style.
I don't understand any other languages but I watched your documentary till the end. The images of her is outstanding. I've seen her monument and about 2/3 images recently but your pictures looks like her monument.
Especially the black and white images.
Thank you once again for your channel
      Regards
      Dee

@@Dee-l3p Dear friend, thanks again for answer my message. that's a good question u ask me about her name, so, I know nobody knows her true name 'cuz she was an indigenous woman who was born in a indigenous mokaná community of the coast of Colombia. I know about indigenous cultures ending -gua means daughter, so, Katalydeyewua meaning daughter of…, I don't know if u know about native languages of her community were lost after Spanish conquistadors destroying their cabins with fire, violence, no peace. Media tells about her life until her her marriage with Alonso Montañez, and then, they don't know where she is her lifeless body now… there are things that they kept silent about 500 years more or less i think… I believe she was a good person, I am really convinced, I certainly believe it, she was very intelligent, don't you think? Yeah, looks like her own monuments in the city of Cartagena de Indias and Galerazamba, right? She was pretty, a beautiful woman, but really I thnik it was her heart of gold and her own personality, her life… and now, I'm very proud of her 'cuz she was the one who changed the rules in that place, she was also the pioneer in marrying a Spanish at that time approved that mixed marriage between an indigenous woman and a Spanish man in Colombia, and from there life began, but she wasn't the first woman who gave rise to the mestizo race, it was only really in Colombia...She was never a traitor, she did everything possible to make peace… I don't know how explain in my own words to show her message to the wold, I tried to do videos with all my love to her, and I'll keep doing it, 'cause i think it would be her will. I do my vids with hopefull and true love, my thoughts, and always with truth and respect, i hope you can see all my feelings put on my vid.
thank you so much 4 ur reply.
      Greetings from Spain! xoxo

Yes I've read about her just vanishing in Spain if I'm not wrong and that doesn't make sense to me. Nobody knows where her grave is , even more confusing as I continued reading.
Her husband Alonso also knew nothing ?, I believe he passed at a later stage but I can't tell.
Also about Pedro, netflix movie says they were a couple and they loved each other dearly but their loved was doomed.
As for Pedro his body was never found in the ocean.
I'm going to be busy at the moment but we must continue our discussion of this beautiful woman from within and out.
Thank you lots for corresponding with me.
Till tomorrow when time suits us .

@@Dee-l3p Good evening again, my pleasure to answer ur questions about my dear Catalina as a wonderful woman she was. In fact, that's true; different sources say that she went to Seville with her husband Alonso, other sources say that she died in Madrid, both cities are in Spain, and there also say that she died in the same city of Cartagena de Indias in Colombia, but, if so, she would already be identified as Pedro Claver for example, or any historical figure, it doesn't sense.
Pedro died on the sea, but, where were his sailors? why don't were rescued him them? they were christians, and I don't belive they leave his body on the deepth of the sea.
About Alonso, I don't know, she was married with him last time, pirates attacked Cartagena and if so, I think they were went to Spain, maybe It would be a better place to live together while Cartagena were attacked and then, she was living with him and they made a family, children grew up with them, but nobody tell about that, and then, when she was an elder woman, they went to Madrid, remember, that city was born Pedro de Heredia, and she loved him in fact, but, that was difficult to her, a twist on the time to she discover things that she doesn't like about him or something else, about gold he stolen while she trust he was a good person.
But, but on Netflix has some little things that aren't so real, Pedro's friend changes the point of view of the reality that is told. but how good a person was Pedro de Heredia really? She loved him with her soul, she was his concubine, that is approved in the official documents, but, it is also true that she accused him of stealing gold…
Pedro took gold from the temple of her family and from other tribes like the Zenues.
Now, I don't know why he took that gold.
Do you really believe that Pedro's brother existed? 'cause we all know that Juana I wasn't the one who made the judgment on Pedro.
well, I think Catalina had an exciting life, I hope for your answer soon, there are many things that were left in the air.
It's a pleasure to share with you my own knokledge about her, and I really appreciate ur messages. Thank you so much!
      Kind Regards - Esmeralda Furachogua - :)
