She has a warm, rich vibrato to her voice, a great tone, an amazing range, a lot of vocal agility, and good stage presence. She’s the best singer this season! I hope she wins!
I'm hooked: I absolutely go crazy listening to your verbal analysis & labelling of what we've just heard (who knew there are actual words for it), and scream at your parenthetical punctuation marks, i.e. ....'the hi E flat (Queen of the Night). Bravo, thanks and you've earned yourself 2 big fans here.
Singer great artist already, she is the best I've seen, she is young woman, she amazing future singer , great quality, love it wish her all the best ❤😊🌹🙏🏾😇
Yeah I thought the same about the dissonance of the two notes at 3:11 just before she hit that high E flat. The E flat was just so breathtaking that nothing else mattered at that point. Her performance was stellar.
YOU ARE EXACTLY RIGHT- I TOO NOTICED THE BODY- THE DELIVERENCE IS SO STRONG THAT I LET THAT SLIGHT BODY MOVEMENT GO- THAT'S THE ONLY THING I CAN SEE THAT WOULD KEEP HER FROM WINNING THE ENTIRE SHOW AND OF COURSE SONG SELECTION VERY IMPORTANT- BUT I AM SOLD ON HER
She was herself in body language. She and Aretha have different body physique, thus her expression will differ from other body types. This young woman have a phenomenal figure. What connoisseurs like myself call "super fine ". She sings so incredibly and looks so gorgeous that her speaking voice will be given a pass in the irritation department. She's a well trained natural, so she's past any judgment by critics or foes. We need a new generation of phenomenal talent that keeps us in the pocket of 19,20,and 21st century level vocalist and musicians. She's a slam dunk in that group. She knows what she's doing.
After she sang "Baby Baby Baby" it sounded like she was going to be in a bit of trouble, then "I need you" sounded like she was struggling bit then after that I couldn't believe how easily she sang the higher notes. Someone help me out. It almost seems like she is using a different part of her chest/throat/wherever to sing those higher notes, but whatever she was using to sing "i need you" couldn't totally support it. Can anyone make sense of what I just said and maybe explain it back to me with some expertise?
I noticed it, but she actual messed up all over the place. perhaps their was just something about this song in some capacity that she couldn't get a handle of. Still she has beautiful, strong vocals,
Overall, I like her but she took some notes High, reminded me cat was screaming, she’s young and she needs to learn when she hits those spots what to do with that. Yesterday she did much better.
Incredible singing voice. Albeit, the dissonance between her speaking voice and singing voice is a real turn off to me. If I were her I’d do the work to address the baby speaking voice. It’s disturbing to me to hear her sing in an adult woman voice and then speak a moment later in a little girl voice.
Nice but nothing to get excited about! If I want to hear this song I will go straight to the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin! Why? Because no one does it like Aretha Franklin! Oh and by the way she sounds a little flat!
Hmmmm....musicians! Like everyone is in the same bubble. Eddie Van Halen was and is one of the best guitar player ever!! You Might find it surprising as that he could not read music at all. Even tablature was beyond his ability. And Yet, they had to rewrite the "theory of music" because of his contribution to music and he personally said, i would confirm it but, i cannot read tablature! Quit putting everyone in the category as to where "most" everyone else is. There are always exceptions too the rules!

I love this lady, but I really enjoy Lucy Love's performances. She has a wit and very impressive vocal skills.
We Ani and Nutsa, top 2 👏👏👏

Thanks for breaking down this song. I have to agree with you...WE is a top 5 contender.
🎉🎉🎉
I caught that too - the casual leg swing like she was rehearsing! But it is a small point as you say.
Thanks for your comment!

Did you analyze Nutsa‘s showstopper performance? How can I find it?
It's coming!
Can;t wait to watch your reaction to Nutsa's Hollywood and/or Hawaii week performance.
I'm gonna try!

Good stuff. Are you from Capetown?
Top 5 with Nutsa true
She's a tie with Nailyah....YIKES ... This is hard. But I love We'Ani's new LP
You should have reacted to Wendy Motens “Ain’t no way” from the voice!
My thought. Wendy was great.
And yes, she made it to TOP 5!!! Good call! 🩵

she remines me of Annie Lennox in her tone!!!
On par with Chloe for vocal ability 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
She probably has two left feet.... Not all great singers have Dancing Rythem

💯%
The voice is not accurate to who sings best. She should have won! I sure hope someone picks her up! It’s an easy decision!!!!
COOL///////////////////////////////
I can't wait to hear your reaction to her Hawaii performance covering Minnie Riperton. She's a powerhouse.
@Oksana that wasn’t Wé. That was Nailyah. Very impressive!
A little lacking in some of her notes/Ain't No Way.But That High Note Was On Point.
She’s got a great voice but sounds thin for some reason.
😮OH NO
No criticism
She pulled that last note 🎵 from her dead ancestors...😅..its forced but great 👍
Katy was jealous because this girl can really sing! Do not get me wrong I still love Katy but taking this girl out was wrong!
She’s okay but Voice and emotion are not together in one 😮she miss her breath 😮😮😮iam hat it all ❤I vote iamb 🎉
Idol lost here.

Cant touch aretha

The actual storytelling is missing. The high notes did not work well.
Sorry. She AINT Aretha!!
She is good but I don’t think she will win it. I won’t buy her records.
