She is the Goddess of the High Elves and Phoenixes. Both of the entities are very rare. She is the opposite of Lolth. Their younger brother, the God of Nature is also the god of the Wood Elves. A Phoenix makes a great familiar.

She was not called Llolth at the time, she was Arushnee!
Agree! however, depending on some resources there are differing names for her. Her story remains rather similar throughout editions.

Good question, It came through some reading in Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes. They reference primal elves and their reflection to Corellon.
