Through your videos you've explained the physics of Aikido to me, and now it's not some japanese magic anymore. Thank you! If I not lived in the UK, I would come to train with you!

Sensei Lowry, you have share with us the Classical Greek/Hermetic elements adopted by the Western World. May I know what the Wood and Metal elements look like?

There is nothing magical in Aikido, to understand why the techniques work all you need is a basic understanding of physics, biomechanics, physiology, and psychology. When He speaks of delivering energy, he means delivering energy in the form of momentum and/or force.
I 've had discussions with physics professors regarding some of the "super human" acts that martial artists can achieve with their bodies. Its complicated, just accept and explore the concepts in the video for yourself

very interesting. thank you for sharing. for my reference, would you say that this is a fairly widely accepted perspective of the five elements in relation to Aikido, or your personal interpretation?

Something that the average person does not realize is that Aikido preserved/developed the Samurai Jujutsu disarming techniques. Anytime I look at aikido moves, I imagine someone holding swords...
