She takes great pains to explain herself clearly. It's clearly not scripted - the whole thing is from herself. Otherwise her delivery would have been like she was reading off a teleprompter. Instead, you can clearly see she's digging deep into herself to conjure up a clear explanation to a difficult concept. I can understand how she feels, because I've been in that shoes quite a few times, especially in my earlier years of teaching secondary school (high school) Physics or Maths. Now, I feel even MORE impressed with her teaching ability. She's a great teacher/coach at any age yet I haven't even gotten to the part that says she was only 9-years old.....

This little girl has way too much soul for Buddy Rich to be an influence.

Question for anybody who drums in English, it seems to me that these are ghosted grace 32nd notes that follow rather than lead. Am I close?, and is that called a “drag”? If not, what’s a concise name for this type of snare hit?
hm.. im confused. the title says gracenotes, and the video translate is ghost notes. either way these are called buzzes, or one hand rolls. ghost notes to me are notes that the brain fills in hits for where a player leaves gaps. grace notes are accents that lightly cater to melodic structures.

なるほど！スティックを持つ指の力加減をコントロールして、スネアのヘッドの上を叩くと同時に細かくバウンドさせているんですね。いわゆるリズムに表情付けをしているというか。私はギターは弾くのですが、ギターで言うところのチョップみたいな感じかな？(違うか？笑)。
ロックの名盤で耳にするカッコいいドラムのフレーズとかも、よよかちゃんの動画を見てどうやって叩いてるのか分かったりするのも楽しみの一つです。
もうすぐ学校も始まるでしょうが風邪などに気を付けてください。これからも動画アップ、楽しみにしてます！

There is no automated translation. If a translation exists on a video, it's because someone (either the content creator or a 3rd party) added one.
