This song tells the story of Ayano's past. It starts off when Kido, Seto, and Kano are introduced to Ayano by her mother. They believe that they are monsters due to their red eyes, but Ayano cheers them up by saying that red is the color of heroes. Following, she shows them a picture book of a hero story while wearing a red scarf.
Soon Ayano's mother dies due to an accident. Ayano tells herself that she has to be a good big sister and cheer her siblings up. One day she sees her dad planning an experiment on her friends, Takane and Haruka. Devastated by this, she tries to save them by committing suicide, and thus enters the Heat Haze.

I think the most amazing part of this is the way that your voice changes when needed. It goes beyond singing and crosses over into acting really, like with the whisper-like part at 1:15, or the laugh at 1:46 adding to the feel of Ayano telling a story.

2014 and 2021 I was only 6 when this song was posted. Lizz was amazing at covers for such a long time. I watch Lizz's channel grow and it just keeps me smiling that someone as amazing as her covers can be popular and listened to. I always wonder what word it was that the lyrics meant when it said "Do you remember the word I loved with every bit inside of me?"
The word Ayano is talking about is "happiness". She wants them to remember to keep striving towards happiness, and love the word just as she did.

The most important words are always in quotes, bold, or italics, so it's not that hard to figure out.

Just saying, it's pretty self-explanatory. that and it's called "Ayano's theory of Happiness" So, why would the word be family? and if you say that's not what you meant, she said the WORD that she loves, which would obviously not be a phrase containing happiness and family, but happiness.

This song already gave me the feels with Juby's lyrics, but despite how much I adore her version, you're really just broke my heart. I think you captured some really deep emotions that lie behind her lyrics. Ugh. It almost brought me to tears with all the feels that came flying up. Really fantastic job, Lizz.

fun story: this is the first song i heard on your channel , i was going through stressfull times (about a year or two ago) so i was up very late (i didnt wanna sleep, cause i hated mornings ) and i found this song after looking through youtube and it really cheered me up so i decided to look at the channel and really liked your singing so i subscribed . you're awesome.

Actually I can't watch anime. (I get to stressed out by it...everything's hyper dramatic of course...and as much as I love it I get to stressed out and emotional and depressed for hours and sometimes days...it's weird. lol)

Yeah, I was able to figure out the gist of the story from the song. So basically there is this group of kids, with red eyes and some kind of supernatural power. They think they are monsters but Ayano cheers them up the best she can. She either lives with them, or takes care of them to some capacity. She learns of something, something bad, and decides that she has to take things into her own hands. She leaves the kids behind, and tries to save them. If I had to guess, she either dies, or they do. Or either she or one/all of the kids become evil. How accurate was that?
+Raven Hopkins Its really good since you've never seen the anime x3, I'll just say that her mother died in a mudslide as well. If you look at JubyPhonic's channel, she has the Kagerou Project songs and her version of Ayano's Theory Of Happiness has more pictures that kinda allow you to see what happens better. I really do think both of their versions are pretty :3
