Oh I forgot to mention this in the video. I''m wanting to get into Macross models. Could you kind folk point me to some nice kits I can look out for next weekend while in Osaka?
TheKrowSama, water decal hell......... Small parts. Watch out when you assemble it! The Macross Delta ones are the worst. I am not saying they are bad kit. They just need A LOT of attention to put together.
PS:. I am talking about the Bandai one. Other brand cannot transform, so don't pay much attention.

take it simple. just pick the basic form of the Valkyrie. Bulky and more weapon look cool but they are too heavy to pose around. vf25 and draken is my pick.
My uncle bought this for me out of nowhere and asked me did I watch anime before he gave it to me. And I thank him for this.
How was the kit? I’m planning to get this as my first gunpla kit
I got the exact same led setup at Dollar tree, orange one and a purple one, for one dollar each and they both look AWESOME!

I'm not a big Feddy fan, but the F91 to me is an iconic mobile suit and a must have! Cant wait to see you do a lighted snap up. I'll be getting one of these. Thanks for sharing!

vsbr = variable speed beam rifle , basically the speed adjust to compensate VS beam shield which can block beams based on speed afaik

VSBR can change the speed of the beam it unleashes. To quote the gundam wiki "The pilot could adjust the speed at which the mega particles used in the beam fire were accelerated. Slower-speed particles produced a wider beam that delivered more raw damage, and higher-speed particles create a more tightly focused, penetrating beam. Thus, the F91's pilot could choose to deliver beam damage on a wider area or focused, high-speed shots to penetrate thick armor or even beam shields."
The only model I have ever preordered, I did it mainly to test the shop as the pre-orders are less expensive but this is the only kit I bothered to do that x)
I already have the Metal Build version but I may get this if the lighting LED looks good.
When that kit gets here in the states in July it's going to be between $45-$55 dollars in stores. That feeling when you don't live where it's made. :(

Clear decal film, eliminates rub on transfer on model, rub on film now it works just like a decal

You can rub dry transfers onto clear decal film, then treat it like a decal including using micro sol/ micro set
Like Archer fine transfers # AR22002
scubasteve I know how to apply dry transfers. I just prefer waterslides.

is this MG worth it for its asking price? new to MG here
I'm honestly super torn on this kit - visually it looks great, especially with the LEDs, but the articulation on the arms looks less than great, and there are one or two little niggles that are really annoying me with the stickers.
Avenger_00209 GunPla is like food. Unless you try it, you won't know the taste.
Are all the runners new from 2018? Or there are some rehash?
