I think the ending is interesting. It shows that even though Pinkie is murdering her friends and cannibalizing them, she still cares about them enough to make promise one last thing before she kills Rarity. This is honestly better written than Cupcakes. Cupcakes was just pure murder and grim which is cool, but this sequel is more bittersweet. Makes me like both Pinkie and Rarity more.
