I’ve made two of these. Love the way it looks. Advice: Use a clasp that you have to push in on, not the traditional hook style that you have to slide up, or else it will be hard to get into with one hand.
I agree about Noodlehead patterns. I have quite a few, look at them and then put them away because they look complicated. Then I open the pattern and start making it and they are really easy and the instructions are great.
I just purchased this pattern but was a bit nervous to start it. So happy to see your video! Can't wait to make it now. I too would love to see a video on the Compass bag! Thank you for your videos, I love that you explain things so well.
I LOVE this pattern! I've made 5, all with canvas for the body and either waxed canvas or dry oilskin for the flap. I've used quilt cotton and also water resistant canvas for the lining. Such a fun, fun make!
I made this at a local class with denim and I love wearing it, but when I tried to make it again I got confused!!! Your tutorial is great so will make another this weekend! Thankyou
My absolutely favorite bag! I have made at least 25 lol😂😂😂 I have cow print upholstery material ones and I have used Italian leather, I have used quilt cotton and marine vinyl, and cork. All of them are fancy lol.
Jess, you always have the best Disney prints on your tutorials. Can you please direct me to some of the sites that you purchase them in. Thank you, always enjoy watching your videos you explain every step perfectly.
@Jess~ I'm curious how waxed canvas holds up to the heat and humidity in Florida? I've heard that if you have a waxed canvas bag, it shouldn't be left in car on a hot day or the wax will get oily and can transfer onto whatever surface it is laying on. Is that true? I absolutely LOVE the look of waxed canvas, but have been hesitant to try it for that reason. I'd really love to hear some firsthand feedback please! Thanks for the great tutorial! ~~Christy~~
Yes, be careful. And not just in Florida! I had some wax/oil transfer from a bag onto a beautiful soft leather bag, leaving spots, when packing and moving my bags to market. Ruined the leather one.....I'm thinking I might oil the whole thing to see if the spots get taken out....I now wrap my wax canvas items in tissue individually when taking to market. It has definitely made me use less wax canvas, although I love the look.....im not sure if anyone has had problems or complaints with wax/oil transferring to clothing from rubbing? (I had reliable source for the canvas)
@@JK-cw2sl Thank you so much for sharing your honest personal experience in response to my question! I truly love the look of waxed canvas too, but not so much as to risk having the oil/wax transfer onto ANY other surface. I would absolutely hate to make a bag as a gift for family or friends, and then have it inadvertently ruin something of theirs!
I'm so confused because I used Printed Fabric for the Interior Pocket and I don't know why the design is upside down or the other way around. How should I put it so that the print is straight when turning it through the Zipper space?
My favorite thing about Mondays is a new Oklaroots video! ❤❤
Oh my gosh, Jess, thank you for the perfect tutorial! This Haralson Waist Bag is to die for! it's so sweet, and such a fun bag to carry! 🥰
I’d love to see a tutorial on Noodlehead’s new Oxbow weekender bag! ❤
Jess! I don't know how you do it! Another amazing video. Thank you SO much for your support!!! It looks like a lot of people are excited to sew it up!
I have made over 50 of these bags! They are such a quick sew and the combinations are endless
I love this pattern. I’ve mad a couple with cork and vinyl flaps. They turned out so well.
I’ve made two of these. Love the way it looks. Advice: Use a clasp that you have to push in on, not the traditional hook style that you have to slide up, or else it will be hard to get into with one hand.
I would love it if you did the Compass bag from Noodlehead, but add a top zipper closure
DUDE! I bought this pattern from Sewing Studio last week, you have no idea how excited I am right now!! 💃💃💃💃💃💃

Have you done Noodlehead’s Sandhill Sling Bag? If not I'd love ❤️ to see you demonstrate it.
I just purchased this pattern but was a bit nervous to start it. So happy to see your video! Can't wait to make it now. I too would love to see a video on the Compass bag! Thank you for your videos, I love that you explain things so well.
Just bought this pattern and I’m super excited to make it!! Wish me luck 🍀 😊
Love this! Just bought the pattern and my creative mind is running crazy on material!!!
Could you do the Crescent Tote please
Would love to see tutorial on Noodlehead's Range bag pack.
I LOVE this pattern! I've made 5, all with canvas for the body and either waxed canvas or dry oilskin for the flap. I've used quilt cotton and also water resistant canvas for the lining. Such a fun, fun make!
I’ve made a few of these and really like how it comes together. I prefer the twist lock closure, I find it easier to use when I’m wearing it.
I’ve made three of these! The first one I used a flip lock and loved it! The other two I did the swivel hook closure and they worked great!
I LOVE this bag!! And I love the fabrics you used.
I made this at a local class with denim and I love wearing it, but when I tried to make it again I got confused!!! Your tutorial is great so will make another this weekend! Thankyou
Love this and I’m really excited to make my first one!!❤
So glad you did a tutorial on this. Thanks so much!
This is my best selling bag at festivals.

Thanks so much for this ... the Noodlehead Trail Tote would be a great option for a tutorial.
My absolutely favorite bag! I have made at least 25 lol😂😂😂 I have cow print upholstery material ones and I have used Italian leather, I have used quilt cotton and marine vinyl, and cork. All of them are fancy lol.
I would LOVE to see a video on The Crescent Tote. ❤
I haven’t made it yet, but now I know what to do with the little pieces of leather I bought on clearance at Michaels!❤
This is so super helpful!! I wondered if I could add a credit card slot pocket to the inside front piece-- do you think that would work? Tysm!!
Love this! I’m going to have to get this pattern.
I’d love to see you make the Yarrow Wristlet from Noodlehead.
This looks like a fun bag to make!!!!
Jess, you always have the best Disney prints on your tutorials. Can you please direct me to some of the sites that you purchase them in. Thank you, always enjoy watching your videos you explain every step perfectly.
I’ve made 5 of them so far. Two for me 3 for gifts.
You Go!!! I just want to at least get one made! 😂
Will you do a video on the Mav pack?
So cute thanks ❤
Great tutorial, thankyou. What weight is the waterproof canvas that you used? 😊
Hi, love this bag, can it be worn as a crossbody bag?
Great tutorial ❤
Would love to see you do the minilmist wallet.
I made one yesterday.
Love it! 🤩🤩
Any suggestions to add a zipper closure to it.?
I have a lot of beautiful quilting cottons. Do you think I can use that instead of buying more, different makes of fabric. I'd love to hear from u.
The designer says yes you just have to double up on your stabilizers🙂
Can I ask what is the nylon fabric you used on the outside of the bag. I'd love 5o find some here in the UK. Thanks

Wait, what? Cheeseburgers?!!!! Love love love
Have you made anything out of oilcloth before, if so can you tell me the video so I can look it up thanks
Any tips and tricks to use it
Been waiting to buy this pattern till the video came out. Thought there might be a discount code.

Adorable
Love it
What machine did you use to stitch this together with? I love your videos, BTW.
She uses the Bernina B 770QE
I giggle to myself everytime she shows a crossbody. I love them but with a 38H, it doesn’t lie nicely on me. 😂
Pattern?
❤
Oh a bum bag lol in my Aussie accent
I would like to see less vinyl with your bags
