IT'S A GOD! - My most consistent Obelisk Deck ft Horus cards - Revived Legion Selection Pack

- With Horus' arrival, the consistency of playing Obelisk the Tormentor increases, not only to summon Obelisk, but also to win with it. Besides, Horus can also gives several other strong monsters for its tribute and destroy effect or as extra bodies for attack opp before dealing finishing blow with Obelisk.This deck I build is what I feel the most consistent way to play this god card. Still, this deck is still just for fun only.

The deck prefers to go 1st and set up Obelisk cards, either for interruptions/prepare for follow up on next turn. Going 2nd is still possible with Soul Crossing to tribute opponent's monsters and summon Obelisk, while Horus cards can special themselves to bait cards/attack.

The deck feels really consistent. Very creative idea in using magicians's soul and rainbow bridge of salvation, on top of horus, to help the consistency of getting those obelisk cards.
Rainbow Bridge also Resets the borde if you have two lv 10 monsters out as well.
Seeing obelisk summon from dsod always gives me chill and i love it ❤

This video inspired me. I've added small world lines to your deck for even more consistency. If you add crystal beast rainbow dragon, thats a search for your horus cards. A small yubel package consisting of dark beckoning beast, spirit of yubel, and spirit gates allows you to search for obelisk. ( beast reveal, reveal spirit of yubel, obelisk :) ) Sick stuff bro.

Love seeing god decks! I 1000% would love to see more! I enjoy this more than the Blue Eyes decks. Sadly Blue Eyes just doesn’t do much nowadays. Still love to see them though.

I respect the horus engine for god card decks, my issue is, their source to start going consists of is their field spell (with planet pathfinder), imsety, and kings sarcophagus. (so that is 12 if you choose to run 3 of each), and your garnets are the other horus monsters, minimum 3.
numeron network consists of (numeron network, numeron wall, piri reis map and one fore one for numeron wall, and planet pathfinder,) and their garnets are numeron calling, which could be useful in hand on circumstance. horus gets you draws with coach giga trainer and trade in with a few negates. numeron network has draws with memories of hope and saryuja, which is much more from one card.
so I guess it comes down to extra deck vs main deck.
All of the Horus monsters make good Small World Bridges for each other, too, though running multiples beyond Imsety to make Small World decent is iffy at best.
There's also Ancient Fairy Dragon, that can search the field. S
For example, Chicken Game + Diviner of the Herald = full Horus squad, potentially.
@@dudeguy8686 if you're running a synchro engine for level 7s while your engine is level 8s, you're probably sacking alot of consistency
@@Cardlimits you'd be surprised how consistently generic AFD is to make, and Horus with those easy Zombie Vampires makes AFD combos even more consistent. They feed each other well.
Edit: but also, yea, probably not worth the effort, and instead just have more combos for other goals, like Bystials. More flexible that way.

I was rewatching the scene, as I wanted to include Obelisk summon animation. But then I saw what I drew from talent is literally what Kaiba did in movie (drawing Obelisk and able to summon it), so I included it as well xD

At least in my ladder, it's a bit hard, due to Obelisk needs plenty of its cards to function well (unless you just play 1 copy of it, but you will rarely summon Obelisk this way. Would you call it Obelisk deck if played like this?). I mention this as for fun only because people will misinterpret things if I dont say anything, like they think this deck will go all the way to Master 1, then lose some games (due to skill / bad luck), and come here crying etc. I guess it may be able to reach DLv MAX / Diamond on normal ladder.

My least favorite, and most consistent decks that I see you play against on this channel are Snake Eyes, Labyrinth, and Rescue Ace. It's so nice to see them picked apart with skill

Very dope deck but I feel like canopic protector is a must have, didn't see it on the final list at the end there I'm guessing you sub it out occasionally
I played that. You can see it at 20:15. In my experience, its gimmick (for Soul Energy MAX as well) isnt really needed, because it's a very rare case. If you open it, like in that game, it doesnt really offer much, especially for going 2nd. It just sets itself. In most cases, having Talent is much better, because of its versatility, especially if your Imsety gets ashed/going 2nd. Thus I replaced it with Talent.

Basically if your opponent breathes you summon a horus gut from the gy or hand
And!!!! It also works with a pretty obscure monster called Dark Horus
- It's a dragon so it's cute
- Level 8
- Searchable with melody
- Pretty ok effect it targets and revives a level 4 Dark monster from your gy if your opponent uses a spell on their turn
I tried that guy by targeting albaz against a sky striker player
But! I've also been trying with some dragon link tech and uh it's better with albaz lmao. But maybe if you play lubellion and set Etude of the Branded you can make a Dragite or Savage on their turn

Maybe even dragonmaids if you play a super graveyard deck with zombie vampire
The trap is interesting. I used to think it could help Soul Energy MAX on opp's turns, but it always needs too much set up to happen.

I spent 0, but I have played since season 1. I spent my gems/UR CP wisely on staples. Just wondering, how long have you played the game? Because many people also say they have many decks as f2p players.

Why not play the spell that searches obelisk directly, the one that adds any monster whose combined attack equals your life points
You can play that. I just didnt feel it to be that good. Too many Obelisk on hand isnt so good, as it means you are bricking.
