You're videos are great man, keep up the good work. I've used a lot of your advice on my MJ build so I wanted to thank you for the time you out in filming. I got the cheapy Amazon LED lights on my MJ and YJ for now but these look awesome.
I feel like an absolute moron right now. I figured up would have been text facing up, but looking back at the cutoff it does look totally upsidedown. I'm going to have to recheck this when it's not pouring out...
I had to do the exact same thing as well excellently light other then small issues I still prefer my ipf harness and 100watt. Oh also if you notice that you’ll have a the low beam on ever so lightly.
@@ReodorF1 yeah. They are made in China, and everyone who's ever watched looney tunes knows China is upside down from the US But in all seriousness, it's a China trucklite rip off, well designed, but with the lenses glued backwards and/or stamped backwards due to "made in china" quality controllers who can't speak English
Hey Nick can you do a video of what you would and wouldn't do, from what you have done from start to current. I've been following you for a couple years now and I'm curious
As an owner of and advocate for trucklites. I'm super friggin jelly of your DRL and turn signals. I absolutely friggin love these!!!! If anyone is interested I have some 8 month old trucklites for sale...
Love my set in my 97 hardbody.---One problem though. The orange blinker strip comes on---it doesn't blink--- only on drivers side and stays on only with the brights.Wired wrong or defective??---------I only want high and lows hooked up.
I just picked up the same headlights but my white cable DRL is not turning on. Only the yellow wire for the turn signal lights turn on. I'm thinking maybe it's a bad DRL running LED light bulb but it's happening on both headlights. I also hooked them up to the battery to test them while the headlights themselves were hooked up and still nothing
Any chance of a retrospect after 2 years? I'd be happy to do some proper plug ends to avoid vampire clips, but i'd really like to not have to dish out $500+ for namebrands if i can find a good cheaper option. Not about to sacrifice lifespan or light spread, though.
I've only recently starting driving this Jeep again so hard to say on life span, but they are good enough and I like the DRL function a lot. The blinkers are way more noticable then stock. Cutoff isn't crazy crisp, but again better than dim halogen. They are a good option for the features and I dig the appearance.
How have these held up so far? Have they fogged up? Any water ingress issues? Any failures of any sort. I like these design since they are similar to the ge nighthawks. I am leaning toward the Hella H4 DOT + led bulb, but H4 led bulbs are small and there's not a whole lot of space for the bulb to properly radiate heat. Thanks!
If you live up north and headlights freeze up which ones would you recommend ? I know some have a built in heater like some truck lites, I didnt know if any others do. I had to go back to stock lights because of winter freezing over
I'm a little confused. Your blinkers were more like emergency flashers. My problem is a blinker problem with these lights. Been trying to figure this out through email with the seller to no avail.
Oh man… I’ve been thinking about new headlights and been worried about snow n ice melt on them… now you’re talking about noise over the radio? That crap would be right in the trash.
Do you still use these lights? Any update on them? Any problem with blunding others with the low beams? Ive hesrd they have a weird hotspot in the middle
They aren't perfect, but I like the DRL/Blinker combo a lot so I don't mind. The hot spot is a little funny and lack luster, and they might have a bit of glare, but not nearly as bad as some of the other units I've tried. I'd say go fo it if you don't need perfection.
I have the same lights and they are very good but mine has some truble with the drl lights one dont work at all and the other one works sometimes the orange works
This guy is the epitome of having a good attitude when dealing with the inevitable challenges of owning a Jeep.👏

I have these exact ones. Flip them upside down and aim them properly and you get a good cut off. The signal light is awesome too. Love the so far

do i now understand this correctly? are they going to be installed with the dot mark upside down??

I flipped mine and blinded the shit out of people. I flipped them right away. They go as advertised.
Those are pretty sweet! “ if you love her...lube her” 🤣😂. Thanks for showing us theses!
Ha the last part reminded me of the scene in Jurassic park where the fat man tried to find the docks and got eaten! Lol
I had these on my toyota mr2. Great lights.

Thanks for the video, I bought a set of these & they are awesome !!!

Those actually look pretty decent...👍👍
Now if I had money to get my TJ built how I like, and these came in a round light. I would definitely get these.
Lucky for you, they do make them. And for about 40 bucks less too.

they have them, different brand maybe. i had a set on my tj before i sold it

I got the ones with the triangle amber on the sides for 100 bucks on eBay like them so far
Does the main beam dim a little when using blinkers? it looked a bit lost and washed out. many OEM modern cars auto dim the main beam

Hi Nickin,Can I invite you to review our new release car accessaries?

So far they have lasted, but this Jeep also doesn't get driven much.
cool lights
Is this your favorite?
Hedlight revolution ;D

What's the problem you have exactly? Did you wire them to the blinker wire and not the running light wire?
Oh man… I’ve been thinking about new headlights and been worried about snow n ice melt on them… now you’re talking about noise over the radio? That crap would be right in the trash.

How are they holding up?
I don't drive the Jeep much, but they are still working so far. I still like the DRL look a lot.

looks like its the car wiring its something wrong on now the lights works perfekt
Hey bro u think I can fit these in a ZJ housing?
No idea. Do they use the same size headlight buckets as mj/xj?
@@NickInTimeFilms bro imma find out and let you know 😭
@@NickInTimeFilms just ordered them gonna see if I can fit them inside the ZJ housing 🤷♂️
I should have bought those ones instead..
Vampire clamps is a evil! Thei is not a waterproof!
Vampire clips are ass, shorts, corrosion, cheap plastic brakes, and then you have to somehow get heat shielding on it when you take it out.
