    GUYS BUY THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, THIS A COOL LOOKING RECOVERY TANK HOWEVER I WOULDN'T USE IT AS MY PRIMARY RECOVERY TANK, ITS PERFECT FOR RECOVERING SMALL AMOUNTS OF REFRIGERANT WITH THE INTENT OF REUSING ON THE SAME JOB

    Appreciate your straight forward approach to your videos. Although it seems strange to question the stamped specs on the tank capacity, how can that be a “30 Lbs” with such compact dimensions? Is it me? Doesn’t seem possible. Thx & Cheers 🍻

      Make sense it is small

    Is that tank UL approved? Those valves look like there very close to the handle. The shape, height and strength of the handle is there to protect the valves. If you have an accident where the tank falls and breaks off the brass valve it will be a bad day when that missle goes through a wall and kills someone.
    It is very important for all of your refrigerant handeling equipment to be properly certified for the job it's expected to do. I couldn't find anything about any 3rd party certifications on there website.
    This company looks like they have many products from jucers, monitor stands, lawn care products, etc labeled and resell it under their brand.

      Probably not. I wouldn't use this tank primarily, but just as a refrigerant holding tank . from the system to the tank and back into the system. Hence, while traveling, it is always empty.

    They are not 5/16 adapters, a little bigger than 5/16". I have bought another version of recovery machine, and wonder what is the difference between "recovery" and "purge".

    • @D2DNYAC
      @D2DNYAC  Рік тому

      Good question I never considered that! I will find out though

      I think purge is to clean machine out to help with cross-contamination

    • @MarkCarpenterHVAC559
      @MarkCarpenterHVAC559 5 місяців тому

      Most recovery machines except APPION allow refrigerant to get into the crankcase. The purge is to clear the refrigerant from the crankcase.

    I just bought two of these tanks. I guess they only pressurize the ones they send out for review, because mine were not only unpressurized, but the valves were open with the ports uncapped. I can't imagine an absence of rust. Did these cross an ocean? When I opened a support ticket, they asked me to send a picture or video "that clearly illustrates the problem"...and made sure to inform me that for any returns without 'quality issues' I would incur return shipping charges. Not pleased.

      That sucks! the one I reviewed was solid, only issue this far is that the extra port got snapped off when it fell in the back of my van!

      does yours have a yellow top and DOT stamps and the proper capacity markings? if not they are illegal to transport and the DOT will fine you into oblivion if you get caught transporting them

    D2D how did you get in touch with Vevor to get them to send you a unit to review? Or did they reach out to you?

    @4:40 the label says "pressure relief valve 4.1 MPa" which would be just shy of 600 psi

    Is any of this offshore Recovery gear EPA certified? Why can recovery tanks be sold in the US market if they can't be legally be used. Can you return "recycle" Refrigerant in these Non DOT cert tanks?

      These are not DOT approved. You are required by law to 608 certified for handling refrigerants. Willful violations can result in 37,539.00 fine per individual per day. Do your own thing....I'm just saying.

      Certification and the EPA is nothing but lies by crooks. They run scams and people like you fall for them.

    Which is liquid side of tank and which is vapor side...You should have explained that and also if you're going to review, hook it it up. Show recovery process. Sure the orange is pretty, but jeez louise......

      This isn't my favorite unit , the tank is what I was referring to, the unit works okay I just can't say about the longevity of it
