This is one of the stupidest slanders against the Holy Qur'an. If prophet Muhammad PBUH did copied from the bible, why didn't he put his name after every chapter? Why didn't he mention himself 100 % of the time in the Holy Qur'an?

Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.
Truly Al-lah is missing
Brother, here are some points to consider:
1. The parts that the Bible and the Quran agree on are from the same God who we worship (unaltered parts).
2. The part where the Quran has correct scientific facts and the Bible gets it wrong means that scribes changed that part. For example, the Quran states that the moon reflects sunlight. Think of a mirror that reflects sunlight, yet the mirror itself has no light. The proof is that when there is a lunar eclipse, if the moon had its own light, it would not be dark at the time of the eclipse, right? The bible says the moon has its own light just like the sun.. and that is a mistake made by the scribes. We should not shy away from saying that if we love God instead of clinging to the error showing God made that mistake just to defend anonymous scribes. This is how we truly show respect to God.
3. Hence, if the Quran copied the Bible, it would have copied these mistakes. But it did not.
4. Even if one assumes that the Quran obtained this information from Greek books, Chinese books, and Egyptian books, one should ask, "How come Muhammad pbuh had all these books translated, and the most important question: how did he copy only the correct information from each book but NOT THE ERRORS in them?" So the simple answer is that both the Bible and Quran are revelations from Almighty God, but one was altered by scribe's error, copying mistakes, imposition of sect theology, etc., and the other has been preserved by God himself because it is the last message.
That is what matters, not defending certain anonymous scribes who did not take good care of it, did not thank God for entrusting them with such a holy book, and deliberately knew that they were altering it to please the church, or for some money, or position in the church, and did not care about you (the future generation). Why do we then defend these mostly anonymous writers? Beyond me What matters is what God says. What matters is to defend that God's speech is free of error.
This is how we should love God, who keeps giving us many blessings and keeps our hearts beating!

You are misquoting, The Bible says “the moon gives it's light”. There’s no “it's own” part. Only that it is to give light upon the Earth-which it does by reflection.
The Hebrew word used for emit/give light in this verse ('owr) can mean both “to be or become light” and “to be illuminated or become lighted up”
I was not quoting the bible word by word, I was explaining it to him because his face reaction showed that he did not understand that point but here is some quotes:Isaiah 13:10

The sun will be dark when it rises And the moon will not shed its light."
it says "its light" meaning it has its own light.
Matthew 24:29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken" Also same in Mark 13:24-25.
Genisis 1-16 "God made the two great lights, the greater light to govern the day, and the lesser light to govern the night; He made the stars also."
so 2 different sources of light.. But we know that the source is the sun. etc

Again, the Bible never said the moon produced its *own light,* The Bible simply says the moon gives light. You ignored the Hebrew word for "give light" that can be translated either “to be or become light” or “to be illuminated and or lighted up”. The moon, scientifically, is “illuminated” by the sun, as the word the Bible uses can be translated.
I already showed you with proof t, but it is not that one error there are plenty of err. The point though is If quran copied the bible it would have copied many mistakes, the order of creation made vegetation created before sun etc it has many errors but that is ok call it differences. Bible said Jesus was crucified on the cross which christian took that tool of torture as symbol for salvation!! Quran deny that.

Quran did not say Lot slept with his daughters, or David committed adultery with Bathsheba, or that Jacob deceived his father Isaac to steal Esau (his older brother) births' right and get the blessing from Isaac. If you read that part and you love God you should reject such a story because it shows God in bad light. If you truly love God you should not accept such stories or verses commanding people in war to dash infants against the rocks etc., etc etc.. call that differences ok, then why Quran did not copy that part. The light was the first thing that was created in the Bible, Sun is not needed for plants to exist, and Science proves it.
The Bible did not say the moon produces light, just read the book of Job. The Bible is not to be taken literally. You must read it in whole. Imagine God wanted to describe the whole creation, how many documents will we have?
If we go the hadith, you can read that Zk Nk is a li-ar about creation in his religion. You like following and you don't read, so everyone can fool you.
The Koran says the Sun sets in a murky water, and it's confirmed by a Sahih hadith in Abi Dawood.
Read the Koran (Surah 41 and Surah 79), be focused and analyze the order of creation, you can see he missed it.

No one claims the Quran copied directly from the Bible as it never quotes the the Old Testament nor the New Testament. What the critics did say in the Quran was Muhammad was "all ears" which meant he borrow stories from others he had heard and retell them as if it's the word of God.
The Bible never mentions the Quranic Jesus , the son of Mary who's the sister of Aaron and the Quran never mention the Biblical Jesus of Nazareth. A man wasn't identified by his mother in Israel in the first century: a mistake the Quran repeats many times.
In the Bible prophets were intercessor for the people which pointed to Christ. In the Quran a prophet was not an intercessor. In fact Muhammad didn't even act as an intercessor for his wives as Surah 66 He claimed allah , all the saints , all the angels were on his side AGAINST his wives and if they didn't obey him allah (his genie) would replace them with better wives.
No prophet in the Bible acted like that.

Three weeks after the Lahore High Court ordered a minor Christian girl Maria Shahbaz to return to the ‘custody’ of her abductor and ‘husband’ Muhammed Naqash, the 14-year-old girl had reportedly gone into hiding with her family in Faisalabad in Pakistan.
Maria had fled with her mother and three siblings. The development came at the backdrop of a recent ruling by the Lahore High Court which overturned the verdict of the Faisalabad District and Sessions Court to put the minor girl in a women’s shelter home, Dar ul Aman.
Confirming the development, journalist Sachin Jose tweeted, “14 year old Pakistani Christian girl Maria Shahbaz has escaped from the home of her abductor, Mohamad Nakash. While in custody she refused to renounce her Catholic faith. Maria’s family has filed a police complaint against her abductor.”
The case of Maria Shahbaz
She was abducted by one Mohammed Naqash on April 28, 2020. The 14-year-old girl was then drugged, raped, forcefully converted to Islam and married off to her perpetrator. Eye witness accounts by Pervez Masih, Younas Masih, and Naeem Masih state that Maria was forcibly abducted in a car while she resisted. The men were armed and therefore the eyewitnesses could not help the victim. The accused also fired shots in the air.

Some people claim that Prophet Muhammad copied the Qur'an from the Bible. How could the PROPHET MUHAMMAD ملس و هيلع هللا ىلص, who could NEITHER READ NOR WRITE, copy from someone else? Further, the few Christians in the area in his time knew only the basics of Christian beliefs. The Bible was not translated into Arabic until 867 Ad - after the Prophet was dead and buried! The oldest Arabic version of the New Testament was published by Erpenius in 1616 AD (about one thousand years after Qur'an start of revelation)
As ALLAH addresses this CLAIM with this verse: "We know indeed that they say, "It is a man that teaches him." The tongue of him they wickedly point to is NOTABLY FOREIGN, while this is Arabic, pure and clear." - Qur'an 16:103).
Just because two Books have similarities does not PROVE one was copied from the other. They may have both come from THE SAME SOURCE (The Creator, and the Book that He holds with Him) If this were the case, a JEW could easily claim that JESUS stole his teachings from THE OLD TESTAMENT. And there are many things he said that I can show you in the OLD TESTAMENT. However, If one can believe that THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, it is not so hard to believe that HE SENT EACH OF THE PROPHETS with THE SAME BASIC MESSAGE: that there is only one God: that you should SUBMIT YOUR WILL TO HIM and NOT WORSHIP ANYONE ALONG WITH HIM; that you should PRAY and FAST as a means of getting closer to Him; that you should DEVELOP not only A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH your Creator but with YOUR FELLOW MAN (give in CHARITY) and, finally, that you should COME TOGETHER AS ONE to worship THE SAME CREATOR in ONE PLACE and FACING in THE SAME DIRECTION. These are THE PILLARS OF ISLAM and, although, much of the teachings of the previous prophets’ teachings became DISTORTED, one can find EACH of the FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM as well as many of the other principles of Islam, MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE and other scriptures.
Besides, if that were true, why is there no mention of SALIH, HUD, KHIDR, LUQ'MAN and DHUL-QARNAIN or the 'AD, the THAMUD or THE PEOPLE OF THE DITCH in the Bible? Why does the Bible use a "J" in the names of JEHOVAH, JACOB, JOSEPH, JUDAH, JONAH, JOB, JOHN the BAPTIST and JESUS though there was no "J' in the language until the 16th Century and the Qur'an does not use a "J" in any of their names (though there is a "J" in Arabic)? Why does the Bible mistakenly refer to Joseph's host as Pharaoh when there was no Pharaoh at that time but the Qur'an does not? Why does the Qur'an not see Satan as a FALLEN ANGEL or are there SO MANY OTHER DIFFERENCES between the two Books? And why does the Qur'an not repeat the Scientifically inconsistent statements makes? These are more questions are what a person asks when they THINK FOR THEMSELVES and don't just listen to others!
The Qur'an includes correct scientific information on some incidents that are scientifically incorrect in the Bible (e.g. sun was created after the creation of Earth Genesis 1:9-19 and vegetation was created before the Sun - Genesis 1:11-13, 14-19):
● Genesis 1:16 states GOD Almighty created two lamps, the sun and the moon, each giving an independent light to earth. The Hebrew says "two lamps", meaning each giving off its independent light.

Had Prophet Muhammad ملس و هيلع هللا ىلص copied the information from the Bible and corrected the mistakes before mentioning it in the Qur'an? In addition, the Qur'an includes lots of other scientific statements, that currently proven as correct, and not mentioned in the Bible.
For example, it was discovered that the “J” in Hebrew did not exist in the Hebrew language until the 16th Century* The Qur’an does not say JEHOVAH - it says ALLAH; it does not say JACOB - it says AYYUB; it does not say JOSEPH - it says “YUSUF”, it does not say JUDAH - it says “YAHUD”, JONAH, - it says “YUNUS”; JOB - it says “AYYUB”; JOHN the BAPTIST - it says “YAHYA” and JESUS - it says “ISA ibn MARYAM though there is clearly a "J' in the Arabic language. It does not make the mistake the Bible does and refer to Joseph's host as Pharaoh when there was no Pharaoh at that time or repeat the Scientifically inconsistent statements that the Bible makes. You need to read books like "155 Miracles & Mysteries in the Qur'an" by Dr. Mazhar Kazi and "The Bible, the Qur'an and Science" by Dr. Maurice Bucaille or google "Harun Yahya" or "Scientific Miracles in the Qur'an" and it will prove that such a claim is ludicrous!
How so many Jews and Christians, including many who were scholars in their religion, converted to Islam if there was doubt that Prophet Muhammad ملس و هيلع هللا ىلص was copying from their scriptures?
*The Letter J was first distinguished from the letter I by the Frenchman Pierre Ramus in the 16 Century But did not become common in Modern English so that early 17 century works such as the First Edition of the Kings James version of the Bible (1611) , they continued to print the name with an I (esous).

But if you want to get straight to the source, read it in Koine Greek, the original language. Scholars have put together the original, with a few uncertainties that change nothing about the message.
That's something you can't even do with your Quran. You have nothing but blind faith that the manuscripts your 1924 Egyptian edition of the Quran based on the narration of a known liar (Hafs), are correct because the guy who put it together burned every copy that came before!

I know you, like myself, was brought up to believe that the Bible is the Absolute Word of God but let me ask you this - when you open up the New Testament, doesn't it claim to be The Gospel ACCORDING TO A MAN NAMED MATTHEW, followed by The Gospel ACCORDING TO A MAN NAMED LUKE, which is followed by The Gospel ACCORDING TO A MAN NAMED MARK, then The Gospel ACCORDING TO A MAN NAMED JOHN, then PAUL has his say, then another man named JOHN and the Book ends with the Revelation given to ANOTHER MAN NAMED JOHN (and, on top of that, most of the people I know follow the VERSION of ANOTHER MAN named KING JAMES). With all these MEN's NAMES on the Book, how can anybody claim this is THE ABSOLUTE WORD OF GOD?
At one place, the Bible says that all Scripture is INSPIRED by God (II Timothy 3:16), but, again, the internal evidence says something else. For example, Paul says in I Corinthians 7:10 “And unto the married I COMMAND” [and then he corrects himself and says] “yet NOT I, but the Lord.” But by the time he gets to the 12th verse, he says: “But to the rest I speak, NOT THE LORD. In verse 25, he says: “Now concerning virgins, I HAVE NO COMMAND OF THE LORD, yet I GIVE MY JUDGEMENT.” He speaks without inspiration in Galatians 5:2 as well, when he says “Behold, I, Paul, SAY UNTO YOU.” This is the same individual who, by the way, says that Christ was made a curse for us! (see Galatians 3:13)
Luke says in Luke 1:1,3: “For as much as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us . . . IT SEEMED GOOD TO ME also . . . TO WRITE UNTO THEE in order . . . that thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed.”
Matthew couldn’t have possibly written the Gospel of Matthew because in Matthew 9:9 it states: “And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw A MAN NAMED MATTHEW, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto HIM, ‘follow me.’ And HE arose, and followed him.’” If Matthew WAS TRULY THE AUTHOR, WHY WOULD HE REFER TO HIMSELF AS “A MAN NAMED MATTHEW” and “HIM”?
There is even similar evidence that at least parts of Deuteronomy were not written by their claimed author, Prophet Moses. This can be seen in Deuteronomy 34:5-10 where we read
"So Moses....DIED... and he (God Almighty) BURIED HIM (Moses)... He was 120 years old WHEN HE DIED... and there arose not a prophet SINCE in Israel like unto Moses....(Deuteronomy 34:5-10)"
How could Moses write his own obituary and what happened after his death? Similarly, Joshua too speaks in detail about his own death in Joshua 24:29-33:
"And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, DIED, … And they BURIED HIM … And Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of the Lord, that he had done for Israel ….(Joshua 24:29-33)"
