Great session there pal 👍 you cannot beat the pulley rig. Whilst I'm at home due to the virus I'm making plenty rigs ready for my up and coming sessions (whenever that may be) so good luck & tight lines (everyone) 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks, there's Red Rock near the Warren and Croyton Cove at the town end, ideal for lure fishing. I haven't bait fished those areas as I'll bait fish at the Warren
Video Outtakes thanks, as there's a lot for sea traffic in my area and it's interesting to see where the vessels are from, what there doing and where there going etc.
Neil Pope Hi Neil, sorry mate just seen your comment, I didn't get a notification. Just a couple of small Wrasse mate, not the perfect conditions at the moment but by July it should be a lot better down there, less weed etc. I don't use What's app or messenger anymore now, just Instagram if you want to get in touch, all the best. 👍
Neil Pope My mate has had a couple of Bass on the early morning low tide from Mear rocks on lure but like you said it's a bit weedy in the estuary at the moment, not so bad at Budleigh though.
buster76246 thanks, rotten bottom is a term for a weak link between the weight and the rig your using, if your weight gets stuck in a rock etc. when your fishing over rough ground, you'll be able to break free of the weight and hopefully retrieve the rig. There are various set ups that can be used but I was using the 'Genimi breakers'. 👍
Stephen Harper it's the Tronix pro aphex light 2 - 6oz, 12' 6", I've got two of them just for light fishing in the estuary and on the beach, great rods. There's a write up about them in Sea Angler mag, last years issue 572 June 27 - July 24. 👍
I always thought that it was the idea to go fishing to eat what you can catch , dont get me wrong good video but I watch a lot of fishing vids & not many eat their catch ?
Gary Brooks thanks, The fishing I like to do is generally catch and release (sports fishing) wether it's trying for a specimen sized fish, or species hunt but sometimes I will keep fish for the table like, Mackerel, Pollock and Plaice. 👍
Rotten bottom rig not "Rottern" like the way I pronounce things as I'm from Devon 😊
I absolutely love your videos really well done so calm and relaxing love them
gavin mcnamara thank's, it's a great area to fish with the rough ground, surf beaches, storm beaches and estuary.
