Epic reads for an epic challenge. Love this and the rating scale! Side note, I always loved the TBR star jar and miss those videos so much. Maybe a star jar to pick these books? :)
I loved the star jars too! However they did end up being counter productive for me being as much as a mood reader. I'd be worried about picking one that I then have to hunt down a copy for. We'll see if I can bring it back in some way!
This is such a cool idea! I've always wanted to get one of these posters but I know that I'm picky and I would get frustrated if I didn't finish a book or movie or just had no interest in it and I couldn't scratch off the scratch-off part. lol. I'm also super hyped that my all-time favorite book is on the list, Anne of Green Gables. I hope you have fun doing this and I can't wait to watch the journey!
I have been reading my way through the 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die list. A lot of them I think - "Ugh. Why did I make myself read that?" But I did not regret reading Cutting For Stone or The Poisonwood Bible.
I highly recommend Rebecca! I tried to comment earlier with a great audio production of Ulysses but I think it got caught in the spam filter. If you are interested it was made by RTÉ Radio and is on most podcast sites.
I’m so excited about this! Would you be willing to do a book club once a month? I would LOVE to read these along with you and then actually have a conversation in real time about them. Thoughts?
I'd like to do this but my ADHD makes it super hard for me to stick to plans especially when other people rely on me lol. I also may pick up one and not finish it for months so I get stressed with book clubs and timelines. I will mention what I'm reading on twitter every so often.
I was pleasantly surprised when you mentioned The fault in our stars and Life of Pi 😅 P.s- also totally out of the context but how do you remember everything after a whole lot of days have passed on and it's not that the book was forgettable or anything, but I've struggled a lot with this like for instance when someone asks me what I liked about the book and what's my take on certain ideas that is mentioned on it. Fairly most of the time it just completely caughts me off guard and I couldn't describe a single thing or the plot in general. And moment like this I feel like someone should bury me raw 😭 Is it just me or others too struggle with this??
I have ADHD, this is a regular occurrence. I could research and deep dive into 'subject A' and know everything about it, but the second you ask me to describe it... total blank. Brains are weird, be kind to yourself.
I've decided to read classics this year too. I've picked 40 classics that I feel I should have read already and I'm planning to read at least 1 a month. I'm starting with The Great Gatsby and I'm almost finished. I've read a few classics before but I tend to avoid them cause they're not my typical interest. Good Luck!!
I might be dumb but isn't Northern Lights also called The Golden Compass? Or is it a much much older book? This challenge is great! I hope you have a fun time doing it. I like the questions you've decided to make for them too.
So fun!! 🎊💕
I hope so!
The Poisonwood Bible is a favorite!
Excited for the ones I have no idea about!

Oooh maybe you should!
This is a great idea! I'm going to get one to do with my kids
Please do!
I remember really loving Cutting for Stone years ago. I didn't know it was considered a modern classic type book
Apparently!!
I highly recommend Rebecca! I tried to comment earlier with a great audio production of Ulysses but I think it got caught in the spam filter. If you are interested it was made by RTÉ Radio and is on most podcast sites.
I'll check it out!
This is such a cool idea, can't wait to hear your thoughts about all these books
I'm really excited to get to many of them!
I have one too!! Found some gems that I wouldn't have read without the input, I hope you'll love them :)
I hope so too!

Anne of green gables
I've been to the place in PEI and it's awesome!

Same! This gives me a real motivation!
@@myreadingisodd I finished the Great Gatsby and like a few other classics I've read it surprised me by how much I liked it.

I honestly have no idea lol. I'm pretty jazzed to get to reading.
THIS IS SO DAMN COOL.
I can't wait!
@@myreadingisodd me neither !
I would love to know what you already have of those
I have to go digging through my house for sure!
I tried to read The Poisonwood Bible recently and had to dnf.
No clue what it's about lol
You should scratch off one you’ve already read and one you finish after you finish one.
I wish I could but apparently I can't lol
I’ve wanted one of those posters forever so excited for this series!
