this was so funny cuz 1. the accent 2. shes so witty and 3. she wasnt in her head, she was just enjoying it, even laughing at her own jokes. IT WAS TOO GOOD

IMO this season had definitely a lot to offer but the editing was keeping it down, their confessionals were genuine reactions so possibly rhe snatch game was good but the editing skipped a lot pf parts
Even during critiques they commended Katkat, OV, and Arizona the most so they had a lot of good moments but didnt reach the final cut. I remember that S1 Snatch game also had lot of moments that didnt reach the final cut

I watched the live viewing party earlier, and even the queens that were there (OV, Katkat, Bernie, and Hana Beshie) revealed that there were lots of parts in the Snatch Game that didn't make it to the final edit! 😢
Tbf people were complaining that the episodes were way too long last season so...

I wish they didn't listen to the fanbase with shortening the episodes..

When I said the tiyanak runway last year looked cheap and Halloween store-y all of the answers were because I *didn't get* it because I'm not PH. I don't see this with any other franchise. Gatekeeping isn't cute and sometimes your fav is just not funny. What wasn't for me to get she answered her questions in f*cking English? The only one yall need to be questioning if they *get* your culture is Miss KatKat cause she's making a mockery of Filipinos with her racism.

And we have a policing attitude where everyone should be this and that like being obedient and in uniform thanks to old religion and social caste-like system (not gonna say slavery). Even in politics, the diehard politican supporters tell foreign critics to mind their own business in their own countries. It's a flaw that we filipinos should address to learn. And kinda ironic for a race/nationality that wants to love and learn (and meddle) about foreign culture and are open arms (and legs) about them, yet would eventually be defensive when we ourselves are the actual targets of criticisms.
@@nathans.5911also, Katkat did not do anything wrong about our own race or culture. She's only making a safe parody of Mayor Joy. And if any Filipino queens in DRPH or other franchise would do what you speak of, Filipino viewers will definitely laugh them off and/or just make fun of them because 1) they are honestly entertaining asf, or 2) many of us look down and ridicule on Filipino accents, mannerisms, and the like. Not unless the performance are overexaggerated and then the fault will be on the queens themselves..

All of a sudden it *wasn't for me to get* I didn't even say I didn't get it , I said it WASNT FUNNY. I got it , I can speak English and there's no hidden Filipino jokes in there that make it funnier if you are watching as a Filipino. Yes it is quite funny that a character who speaks English and is from an English speaking country "wasn't for me to get" no that is a cheap way of calling me racist and dampening my argue that Arizona wasn't funny cause it makes me look like a bigot. It's not cute and we do need to learn from eachother . Being American we don't have a culture to gatekeep but as you said a culture such as yours which is so eager and ready to accept American traditions and qualities should not gatekeep their own culture or use this as a poor excuse anymore when a lot of modern humor over there seems pretty American to me . I understand these girls jokes way more then any European franchise.

Katkats runway was better, arizona was decent but not that good, katkat won because of her better runway
Katkat's was actually spot on in voice and action and her jokes were well though out. Like the Korrupt answer was a double entendre for kurap (tagalog of wink). Plus her runway was one of the top looks this week. Arizona's Adele was funny but some part of that is due to the cringe it induced. Plus she kinda needed to bounce off Hana's Jessica Soho while Katkat's Mayor Joy as Jiggly pointed out could stand alone and still be funny.
Katkat as Mayor Joy talked to Mama Pao as if they're having a genuine conversation. And her answers are naturally funny and flawless. She also seems quick-witted similar to OV, M1ss Jade, and Bernie. Arizona is very funny but her answers felt gimmicky, a plan B or last resort style she has.
