Dear Harish Ji : Investing 19 days of time to explore Orissa and highlight the places which are less visited is really appreciable. I am sure the series of Orissa will inspire many to make plans to visit Orissa. Personally speaking the Tourism department of Orissa should be grateful to you. Best wishes from Mumbai.
It is said that when you start char dham Yatra you start with jagannath puri and complete with jagannath darshan. You start your Odisha journey with puri and complete with jagannath darshan. Great!!!!!! When i saw your last episode i felt as if a close relative stayed at our home for 19 days and left today.. Do visit Odisha again. I would like to say one thing one of the relatives of my colleague here in Delhi (coincidentally they are also with surname Bali) had gone Berhampur for some business work and he liked Odisha so much that later on he settled there. You became unofficial ambassador of Odisha tourism...really.. Jay Jagannath....
After watching the entire series, I was wonderstrucked to see the beauty of Odisha and it's humble people. Thank you Harish Ji for sharing your experience and showing us India's another beautiful state Odisha. We all could feel the holy vibes of Jagannath ji's Mandir while watching it here at our home, must have been a very blissful experience ! Jai Jagannath Jai Odisha

@@shreekumar5079 Very true..But the name Odisha comes from Odra Desa or Udra Desa pronounced differently in different times. It was also called Udraka. The region that was Udra was the region that we have now as Dhekanal, Angul, Talcher, Jajpur, Redhakhol, some parts of Cuttack. This was the region that was the only region that had supported the Pandavas, in the Mahabharata. Kalinga had supported the Kauravas and the king of Kalinga had given 30,000 chariots to the Kauravas and their army. No wonder, we still have names like Durjodhan and Sisupalgarh, Duhsasana in the Kalinga region. Utkala, had also supported the Kauravas and had given 20,000 elephants to the Kauravas. Odisha has been called Kalinga, Utkal, Odra Desa, in different times. Udra, Utkala, Kalinga, Koshala and Kangoda were different regions of Odisha that spread from Ganga, where Modern Kolakata(also called Kalikata) in Odia till Godavari in the south. Koshala denoted Western Odisha and Chhattisgarh, Kangoda was the region around the Chilika lake, covering the districts of Khurda, Puri and Ganjam. This was the region where the Shailodbhava dynasty ruled for 100 years before migrating to Java, Indonesia in the 8th century, from Chilika lake, with their naval fleet and 25000 Odia people. There, the Sgailodbgavas, who were Shaivites, worshippers of Shiva, and who had built many of the Shiva temples of Bhubaneswar, renamed themselves as SHAILENDRA DYNASTY after converting to Buddhism in Java. There the Shailendra king Samaratunga built the largest Buddhist temple complex of the world called as Borobudur near Yogyakarta/Jogjakarta/Ayodhyakarta city of Java. The Kalinga Javan architect who designed Borobudur was "GUNADHARMA".A Clan of tge royal house of the Shailodbhava, who retained their Shaiva Hindu faith, established a rival Hindu Dynasty called SANJAYA DYNASTY in Java and built the largest Hindu temples of PRAMBANAN dedicated to Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva(Maheshwar) near the same Yogyakarta city of Java, Indonesia. which was tge largest Hindu temple in the whole world, till Angkor Wat dedicated to Lord Vishnu, was built in Cambodia by the Hindu Khemr kings Jayavarman and Suryavarman in the 14th century A.D. Both Borobudur, and Prambanan date back to the 8th century.A.D.Most of Utkala, including, Medinipur, Bankura, Purulia, Jhargram, are in Bengal, and Singhbhum, Sadheikala, Kharsuan,Chakradharpur, are in Jharkhand now.Soth Kalinga, comprising Icchhapur, Srikalulam, Vijayanagar, Visakhapatna, Pithapur, Rajamahendri(Rajahmundry),Godavari are in Andhra Pradesh now. The entire western flank of Bastar, Saranggarh, Raigarh, Jashpur, Udaypur, parts Western Odisha are in Chhattisgarh now.So the modern, current Odisha exists with its head, left hand and one leg chopped off. that was the part of a grand conspiracy by the British that dismembered Odisha for 200 yrs of Brutish rule and and Odisha was not existing in the political, Geographic, linguistic map of India during the British rule, Odias fought for a statehood on linguistic basis got a limbless, handless, headless Odisha in 1936. At present , we still exist in a dismembered and vivisected form, with our leg, hand and head missing. Thats why they also call Odisha/Odias as"Haata, Munda kataa "Derdha Gordia". No doubt we were made handicapped, but we will stand with our, head, hand and limbs intact one day.

Jai Shri Krishna very nice in India is very nice place to see from London jai Shri Krishna
Enjoyed well... Have a great n pleasant journey
In earlier videos, it used to be a lot of food coverage but now it is mostly travelling and informing about places only
💯 Exactly
Now its food + travel + informative videos........in short complete package for travellers.....
its now a mixture of food, travel, folk and every thing else a traveller needs to learn before travelling... i am trying to fix the right level at which all 3 should come with no misses on food.. hope i am able to fix this well as we go
@@visa2explore But the coverage on food is dwindling by each episode as it appears and the focus is shifting to more travelling and showing places.
yes i agree and appreciate.... that's what i mentioned - i need to fix this, finding it bit hard but yes that is what i would love to do, keep food at 50 percent and rest all at 50 percent
One of the best places in india to visit
Thanks Hariah ji. A beautiful place described beautifully.. just sad that you missed Rourkela and few other places where you could have enjoyed n.veg food. Kindly consider it in your next odisha tour with north odisha. Once again thank you so much for giving such a detailed info. Best wishes!!!
