And yeah, she definitely would probably like both. I bet she focuses more on the break-down and plan method. Vomit riffing is a little more innate. Her method is more teachable.

I agree with you. True but I think part of being a vocal coach is letting singers sound like how they want to as well. Granted I don’t like the tone either but if the singer wants to sound like that, then the teacher has to help them do it health-ly lol regardless of our feelings on the tone /:

Natalie, I wonder if you read the comments on your coachings. Girl, I have taken 50 hats off to you. I have been singing for many decades, and I applaud your knowledge of physiology and how to guide singers to belt without causing harm to their vocal cords. You're a master.
Hi I’m one of those people who are really insecure when they sing. And I’m thinking of getting a voice teacher but I wanted to know what people who don’t like their voice (or do) think of having a voice teacher.
I don't sing, but take piano lessons. It's really weird at first. If you have a good teacher they'll only want you to succeed and they'll know the struggles too from experience. So you have nothing to worry about :)
Having a voice teacher is really nerve racking at first but they will always be super supportive because they want you to do well. I hated my voice at the beginning because I’d compare it to others but my teacher was able to bring out the uniqueness of my voice and make me feel good about it. Having a teacher gave me a confidence in my voice that I wouldn’t have had on my own so I highly recommend if you have the time and money
I was nervous too at first! Voice teachers are super supportive though, and will completely strengthen your voice and technique. He’s like my best friend now!
Ur students are dope. I can tell that guy with the reddish shirt gets in his own way. I recognize the trait cause I own it lol. NATALIE ur session seem so valuable and Fun all at once. I'm going to get there!
Final guy is so, so talented! Lovely tricky harmonies there and so responsive to coaching, once he finally lets himself flow with it. What a lovely tone! ❤ (you guys sound awesome together). Others are insane, too. Looks like a lot of (really subtle) vowel brightening for top belt notes and some lightening of breath pressure. So ironic that adding more breath pressure causes flatness, right? Thanks for sharing these!
