I am a true man of culture. I listen to an anime woman driving a truck across Europe in a bikini singing Ode to Joy in native German. I fail to see anything abnormal about this.

This is without a doubt, THE best way to enjoy some Ode to Joy.
As a native German it's really funny to see on the one hand the seriously good performance of her singing and on the other hand the comical unnatural overaccentuation of the rolling R in a silly/goofy manner.
Like others already said: She really should perform more of these songs. It also fits her a lot.
I'm not German, but I did study it for a while, and I was thinking there's no way the Austrian accent has such accentuated Rs 😅
@@btCharlie_ If anything the average german doesn't roll their R at all. I remember being in spanish class and half the students couldn't roll their R at all.
As a music person that cannot speak any German, I will say that rolled Rs seem to be pretty common when singing German language art songs.

I guess Kronii and Ina are also Korean but they are still native English speakers
@@DBT1007I do agree, but it makes sense. They work for a Japanese company. Its much easier for them to secure JP perms/find JP songwriters that finding English ones. You'll find that the only ones that consistently sing in English are those that write the songs themselves or have the connections to find English songwriters. Like Callie. And HoloID. For some reason. Not sure about that one 😂
How about she join the Ravencroft theatre and start streaming these kind of stage show together?

Idk if English native speakers feel the same but songs in a foreign language always sound way better (probably because you dont understand the text which is sometimes cind of cringe or sth totally different than you expected best example for me was loli god requiem)

Disclaimer: i really, really love Kiara, (and i love classical music too, particularly ópera). What she was doing, although beautiful, was not an opera voice. It is important to recognize skill and beauty where it belongs, and do it in a proper way, so not to create false expectations down the road.

There is a non negligeable amount of people who told me about the Fauna Truck Crash "oh that was actually the sound from her stream ? I thought you edited it" And that's one of the reasons why that moment was so legendary
I'm not surprised, it feels too perfect. But it just... happened. The music was already on point that stream, the Klezmer showing up when she couldn't park early was an omen, but that ode to joy's crescendo happened when the camera just started spinning around was... it was too good. There's a reason Fauna was talking about how she hit her peak there.
