It's not good at all. Very uneconomical, keeps low gears way too long. There is torque to change gears earlier. The manual mode works when it wants to and yes very slow. I would prefer manual in this otherwise comfy and nice car.
@@mainiotaainetta Maybe there is a reason behind the high-revving engine. PureTech engines sometimes have to be driven at full throttle or high revving, because the WET timingbelt (rubber belt IN oil) will tears or breaks at low mileages or kilometers.
Starting from Jan 2017, paired with Puretech 110 is Aisin AWTF-80SC/TF-81SC , also known as EAT6 in PSA cars. It's torque converter type of gearbox, 6 gears. Slow and not very economic, but smooth AND very reliable. It is still built in some Mazda, like CX30. Doesn't require any maintenance or oil change. I have it in my Peugeot 308.

Is the automatic gearbox good ? The seats are very comfortable and the suspension seem to move like an old American car.
Gearbox is OK, not the fastest, but good for this type of car. Generally the car is very comfortable.
