at 3:30 with that junction at woodseats, I had to teach a bus route from woodseats to graves park that involves that junction. A few professional bus drivers saw that as the actual way to deal with it - to the point where I had to stop them in the bus stop before and explain it to them. then again that was a nightmare with the little sideroads but I digress...
The blue car on the roundabout at the beginning, which couldn't really go anywhere because of the traffic jam ahead, was keeping traffic moving by leaving a gap so the cars to the left could use the roundabout. Seems sensible to me.
Genuine question: Why are the roads in Sheffield so bad. I have driven there and could not find even one small stretch of road without a major pothole.
Years of neglect and our council being obsessed with encouraging people to use our shocking bus services. There's a massive project going on at the moment to resurface every road in Sheffield but the quality of some of the work is questionable so it remains to be seen how long the new surfaces last!
+Daraius Murrell It's a Labour council, they got re-elected last year despite everyone doing nothing but complain about them. Amey are doing the work but as I said, the standard of the work is very hit and miss.
I live in Conisborough and had to take my mum to Hallamshire Hospital recently. Never again will I drive in that city!! Absolute hell lol. My friend live in Walkly but thankfully they come get me! Xx
If I was going straight on I should give way to the cars coming up the hill, but as I was turning left I don't have to give way as I'm not crossing anyone's path. The silver Kia should not stop on the hill as the junction is designed in such a way that you don't need to.
+Sheffield Bad Drivers it depends on how you look at it because let's face it people can catch indicators with ease I do also understand that the give way lines realistically applies for ahead as you can't go right that way but in human terms it would be easy enough to take the concept of that give way sign to cause problems in any instance
@2:39 - "Do not enter the box unless: (a) your exit is clear, or (b) you are turning right". The guys across the box were turning right: entitled to be there. Your exit was not clear. You were not turning right. You were NOT entitled to enter the box. Sorry mate but you were completely in the wrong.
I'm fairy certain what the highway code means is you can wait in the yellow box to turn right as long as your exits clear, as in waiting for oncoming cars to pass so you can turn right. You can't go into the yellow box and block it if your exit isn't clear, regardless of which way you're turning.

Great compilation mate. Your BMW sounds nice when you're giving it some beans. :D
The blue focus where he turned right is where I live and it happens a lot there causes a lot of crashes
Lupo GTi! Kudos, always liked those.
Had to chuckle seeing the Audi badge on the Korean tin can in the last clip!
Do you like them enough to buy mine off me? ;) I've just put it up for sale!

That's what I thought he was doing, but then the traffic ahead started to move and he stayed where he was - turned out he was busy texting.
nice set of clips, your car does sound lovely. Keep it up :)
Gotta admire that Daewoo driver's sense of humour though
I live in Sheffield and it's Hell on Earth for anyone in a Car. Too many Potholes, Speed Humps and Unnecessary Traffic Lights.
i have seen someone with their foot out the window of their car here in the US, but it was the driver and i was genuinely worried
im waiting to see myself on here one day
Enjoyed it, thanks!
That BMW driver @0:55 should get a life time ban, not a year or ten years but a life time ban. We need to get tough on idiots.
I call speed hacks on the "Road from hell" clip
Y21CCO complains about lack of planning then immediately drives through an amber light. And again later on.

+Sheffield Bad Drivers Oh I see, which political party runs your council ?? And who is running the project to repair the roads ??

Drive a Renult Clio through those floods and you've lost your Clio. Air intake on those things is in the most stupid place.
at 4.15 you're in the wrong the give way lines are your side

Your exit was not clear. You were not turning right. You were NOT entitled to enter the box.
Sorry mate but you were completely in the wrong.
But the Corsa's exit wasn't clear either? He was trying to turn right when there was a stationary queue.
You can enter the box if your exit isn't clear - IF YOU'RE TURNING RIGHT.

+Mhlikescars this is correct
Why did you not peg it in Germany you were in a 135i
We had 130mph out of it a couple of times but in that clip it was 100km/h limit anyway.
10:21 you park on a no parking space
The white line is only there to stop people blocking my girlfriend's drive, I was just picking her up.
Middle laners are not unique to Sheffield.
BMW M135 you was on you phone shouldn't that be put down as bad driving especially on a motorway
The car has Bluetooth connectivity so you can make hands-free phone calls.
is that bad driving? hahahaha come to saudi or a bahrain
