I think that “no festival has been a skip” is wrong. You might be able to say that no festival ever released has ever been completely and utterly worthless, but having a use doesn’t mean they’re valuable enough to pay 900 gems for. There’re also a few that were bad at launch, but got something to make them better later but that we didn’t know when their banner was up, so we couldn’t summon based on that. For example, fest Diane was pretty mid at launch, but then red Tarmiel came out and made her meta, but that wasn’t until after her banner left, so nobody knew about it while she was still summonable.
Hopefully we finally get red LV meli
While agree collab is exciting, it's too fast after Anniversary since it was worth to dump everything onto Esca banner + Percival is also really good and worth
As for "skipped FES you can't name" I skipped Gowther and took the gems for Anni, not because I think he is necessarily trash, but also wasn't justified for me either over Anniversary xD
Sabunak could be really cool FES (or 600 banner if it isn't FES), but I still barely have any gems cause of Perci banner haha
I'm in the same boat but I did a second rotation on escanor instead of going for perci
@@SK23. I don't blame you, the banner is super good! I also went 2 rotations on Esca, then decided to throw any extra into Perci, but had to go full rotation for him cause i couldnt get him without pity-select... I had like 3 or 4 SSR in the whole rotation and rest dead multis... but trying to be positive since I at least got my first copy of NY King and green Queen Diane..
I don't regret skipping Gowther and the 300 free gems were really helpful down the line, but Gelda was an unfortunate must-skip for me due to Collab/Anniversary and would have been a great pickup for various stuff (not just pvp), yet still has not returned even once after soon-to-be 4 months lmao
I still don’t think that 242=collab is enough evidence for a collab, however we have gotten livestreams for collabs before, so saying we never have is wrong. I don’t know how long it’s been since they’ve done it, but they definitely have.
Dunno where did he found this logic, lol, they do step-ups to rearrange the schedule, its not necessarily tied to a collab. Last year we had Red Megellda step-up before Roxy's update

@@devinschexnayder7440 Demon king only works in a full Demon team (which given he is really nice to have for.), Mael only works on a full Goddesses team (which he is the core unit for, but there's no really good 3rd and 4th unit for the team, so it's just him and the newer light Liz to carry.), and Traitor Meliodas is probably generally better than Lostvayne Meli, since his only usable character would be LR these days, which on a brand new account you don't have the coins for (and there's better choices for LR.)
@@DeamonNiichan OK. So in the new stamp summon thing, I would be able to get all the summons and loyalty stuff. At 300 gems, its traitor meli or elizibeth. At 450, its ultimate escanor or chaos merlin. At 600, its lr lostvayne or ludociel. Which ones should I get?
@@devinschexnayder7440 I think you get TMeli for free as a new player now from login bonus? Not sure, if yes, obviously take the Liz (for variety of characters as well as box cc and gp points), if you don't, TMeli is the choice/// with the 450 it's definitely the Merlin, since she's the sin teams backline, and the sin team is like the most or second most variable team to use (due to the amount of characters), 600 I would personally skip, but if you're going for it, pick up Ludociel, you have Mael, so you can potentially make a Goddesses team if you get the newer light Liz, or a new good goddess character comes out soon.

Alternate: Effects quiz: what does power strike/sever/flood do?

Power strike is damage equal to that one defence stat, idk whats sever (because im not playing on eng) and flood is 0.8% damage per 1% of remaining hp

cusack not only came out at a terrible time (literally two weeks after margret who was by far the best pvp unit in the game post buff) but was also underwhelming
ur gowther just simply came out at a bad time (literally right after arthur) and was also underwhelming until escanor release. he has value, but there was way MORE reasons to skip at the time
fest armor gowther had a shitty banner. he was good, but margret and ban was still running pvp. gowther didn’t shift the meta that much to even invest in his shitty banner (no festivals were featured for those who don’t know)
fest zeldris came out at the wrong time. glue eater was still dominant and due to zeldris being a support only unit with no dominant team that relies on debuff to be on, also wasn’t worth the summons
lastly loli merlin. she’s a weird release bc not only was it during a terrible time (back to back festival again) but also they marketed her terribly. terrible live stream and even on release she didn’t fit much into teams besides the whale ludo team. it wasn’t until emilia came out where loli merli truly shined and dominated pvp for over a year but even with the global foresight it was really hard to lean into summoning due to back to back festivals + ani was around the corner (which was ban who we all know had a crazy run in pvp).
I agree with cusack, and I agree with loli Merlin, but the others are kinda invalid, because the others had really good uses when the first came out and were all worth while.
nah, merlin and UR gowther were only skips if you didn’t have gems, but units were part of the best teams in the game on release
@@deityodragon were they good, yes. where they meta shifting, no. literally the only one that actually impacted the meta was loli merlin which again is a weird case bc that wasn’t until emilla came out. my point is that majority of them weren’t dominant on launch and wasn’t a “must summon” when in reality at the time there was more reasons to skip
@@Max_0055 merlin didn’t have the best team until emila came out so no she was not the best team on launch. took some time
and for gowther sure sins was still the pvp team, at the time it was still better to run ban and king. gowther didn’t really impact the meta until escanor came out
the point is nag is making it seem like every festival was a “must summon” and all of them were dominant on release when that wasn’t the case at all. there festivals i just mentioned had more reasons to be skipped than summon even if you had the gems for it. that’s the point
@@TheSupremeJointHD thats wrong tbh, merlin was part of the best team with TO escanor and red gowther / ludo 🤷🏻♂️ and gowther was way better than king due to CC, he’s not become part of the sins team bc of escanor he was already the best third slot for the team tbh, you can argue it wasn’t the best team in the game bc of gelda but still n°2

There were past festival skip banners. One of them was Diane on release since Red Tarmiel wasn't released yet. And Cusack, since he released near the same time of Margaret. And i guess, Hel?
Hel? Hel was meta and kicked out DK off the meta. The skip fest banners I can think of since the start (global) were OG fesKing, AM Meli (for some people), OG FestZel (mid back unit on release), OG Cusack (Margaret was better), and both FesGowthers (marginally improved the meta).

Unrelated but i want a new best unit in the game level AM Meli for next new years. The fiest one got done dirty and we've never gotten a second. After getting two ultimate escanors it shows that they are no longer afraid to drop multiple of the same unit so i think its time for a new one.
