    That's a great find, it's in mint shape. As long as I can remember from the late 60s on, the left burner runs less BTUs. For me as a habit, once I'm done camping I always pour the fuel back into the canister for storage til my next outing. I've bought stoves from yard sales that still had the white gas in them, when I brought them home and a quick clean later with new fuel they lit up fine. The thing is with these stoves, they're easy to repair and clean.

      Thanks for the information brother, I appreciate it! I have taken apart the burners just to make sure no spiders made there way in, and it was pretty dang clean in there. Very minimal dust. I blew it all out and it’s working exactly the same! 😂😂😂 I’m really digging it!

    If you do not have plans for the. Stoves next use, empty the fuel tank. On the left burner issue. Make sure your fuel tank is well pressurized. Try that first. Nice stove!

    As the algorithm introduced, I just looked down and suddenly noticed something fine, so I looked up and saw a thumbnail, and it was your video. Every day I open my phone, I see so many videos, and when I see a good video, I select it and sometimes pass it, but I like this one When you see Euiyoung, you will want to see it again and again. I think that life is the same as when you meet someone good in your eyes, you see them again and again, you want to ask a question, and you want to lean on them like a child. I want to tell you that there is a very strangely attractive feeling that is clearly felt somewhere. If you think that your subscribers, like me, who enjoy watching your videos in places where you can't see you, and netizens who just silently watch your videos without being revealed yet, might be a big support for you. The 425 series began in 1948. The F was produced from 1980-1995. Your date should be on the underside of the tank tabs. The fill hole moved to the enter of thank on these models although I can't recall the year. Some think the fill hole move was to prevent "idiots" from refueling during use but I think you'd have to be pretty smart to make a stove work with no pressure.

    I had trouble with mine forever till I read the directions on the lid.. That needle selector has to be in one position until the fuel tube heats up enough to vaporize the gas.. then turn down. Not sure which but one direction pulls vapor off of the top of the tank to light the stove.. once the tube over the burner is heated the fuel can vaporize in the tube. I was pumping raw fuel into the burner and leaking into the stove it'self

    How often do you have to pump them up?

  • @albedo0.392
    @albedo0.392 Рік тому +2

    I had the same problem pumping with a lot of resistance. This is the mistake or the secret : you have to turn anti watch direction the pump device 4 times, 4 circles to the left,,,then you pump without of resistance.Then you turn to the oposite direction 4 times and you lock the pump. you must pump around 30 times. Sometimes the problem could be the check valve...but in this case I don't think so, because is almost new. Sorry if my English isn't perfect.

    I've got a two burner Coleman stove from 1981 and I also have a 3 burner Coleman stove that runs off of a regular barbecue grill propane bottle the good thing about that is I can use the propane line in the other Grill and it works perfectly because I don't like to mess with that Coleman fuel it's too expensive. I have a video on my Channel showing both. To answer your questions both burners are supposed to burn at the same temperature on the highest setting you might need to clean out the tubes as far as keeping the fuel in the tank don't do that if you don't use all the fuel take the fuel out of the tank after you're done

    I have 4 of them damn stoves! I didn't need any of them, but I wanted them all. I was given 1 and paid $20 for the other 3. 2 are 3 burners. I grew up with those stoves. Camping, at the cabin and at the hunting shack. My experience with them is that the left burner is not as hot. But the more you turn up the right, the left will also get hotter. We have always left the fuel in with no problems. White gas is pretty expensive and the Coleman fuel even more so. My suggestion, buy a propane adapter. Around $25 off of Amazon. Will then run off 1# canisters. Invest in an adapter hose so you can run off of a 20#. Way more economical. I think the hoses run $25 or so.
    Great for cooking as a back up, or in case of an emergency. My advice when cooking on them go low and slow and use cast iron if you can. A Lodge griddle fits perfectly! And once it's run for a few minutes, pump it back up. I'm looking forward to see what ya cook 1st! Maybe bacon???🥓🤔🍳😉😎👍🔥🧀

I am trying to quit that habit and I am pretty pleased with the results. I am more focused on what I need than what I want nowadays! Great to watch you again Dominic dear!!

    Beautiful stove. Mint condition. The primary burner is always hotter, the left is the simmer side. Always run the left valve fully open when using it. Thanks for sharing.
    Ps That stove will last forever. Oil the leather ring to maintain proper pressure.

    I grew up with those stoves and I was sure talking to ya threw the screen. LOL Well you figured it out. The left burner will never burn as hot as the right because your using gas through the right one first. I remember when the gas stations started offering unleaded gas besides the leaded and when that happened...dad was so happy because it would run on unleaded which was way cheaper than the Coleman fuel and white gas which some gas stations carried as well. Nice find and good deal.

      😂😂😂 I knew folks who have them would be! 😂😂😂 I would never have thought to use regular gas! That so cool! Definitely a great backup option! I always have gas stored! Thanks for sharing that and watching sister, I appreciate it!

      @@Dominic.Minischetti Unleaded will work fine, just don't leave that stuff in the tank when you put it away. It's better to run it dry use rolled up paper towel to wick the rest out and run it with a little Coleman fuel before storage. Coleman won't gum up like auto fuel will.
