Hi! Is there a way to use Google sites without having to buy a domain or anything? I'm very confused, because we're using Google sites for a classwork project
What I don't get is, if Google is the biggest search engine on the planet, why is there only 17 templates to choose from within Google Sites? You'd think there'll be hundreds if not1000's - just like every other web building platform out there - but 17??
@@Cooke-z2q correct my brand has 6 colors. I use Three colors for the background and three colors for buttons or for accents. I also incorporate the colors in the text. Such as the paragraph text is one color usually black, but the title, subtitle and header are different colors based on my brand.
i created my draft page using the google themes...i do not see the setting for fonts at the end of your video? how do i create a new theme without losing the settings i have before? thanks
@@shedesignsthings yes tks but I meant the other larger settings, i found the at the new style 3 dots. Do you know a way to replicate the titile bar of the aristotle theme whe you create a custom theme? tks
@@alexherrera3918 Is that the theme with the white box being the text? If so, no I don’t. But I wish google would add this ability to the custom themes :/

Hi Chelsea, can we use Google Drive to host the images when embeded in Google Sites? We just need to put the share link right?
I've tried this a few times and it doesn't always work. But I like to use postimg.cc/ to host images when I need to.

You can change divider colors, but you can’t change the width of it

Yes. Once you publish your site you’ll get a “sites.google.com/(your-site-name)” address

How do I customize my brand palette? Haven't seen any steps on it.

Fonts are located under “color”.
