@@NeverStopDIY Hey man just curious how it’s holding up. I ordered one then started watching videos. There’s another one where the guys complaining about the quality and showing all places he had to add wood to help brace it.
I just bought one for my grandkids I will try to put it together before the weekend because they drive me crazy with all their energy inside my house lol 😆
It’s funny to me bc his face stays the same way all the way through , just putting to a swing set for the fam and wifey helping . You would see my frustration and maybe some cursing lol👍 My son started with me since he was 5 on the job and home projects , now 12 . He wants to be a carpenter just like me but he wants to go union smart kid lol excellent job brother !... please stay safe with this whole covid virus and my God keep u & yours safe
Thank you. :) Same to you and your family. I don't have one of those, naturally inviting faces, so I try to edit close ups. My face has that angry look by default, even though I am not that kind of guy. If I included those angry moments, not many people would be watching. :)
Hi how did you prep the area where you placed yours? I just bought a playset for my kids and before I begin putting it together, i want to have a good leveled space in the backyard prepped already.
nice work. I've been building swing sets for over 20 years now and most people who tackle these themselves do an awful job. You got the fort leveled which is a huge part of doing it right. Tips for future self builders: get a few hardware organizers from Lowes and label the sides so you know what bolt/screw is where. Table Ladder Impact drill and a regular drill *I can build these with my installer in under 8 hours.
Thank you. That means a lot. We actually moved this playground for about 6 feet towards the fence, after a couple of months and I inserted some 4x4s underneath to lift it up a little bit.
@@NeverStopDIY you have to do what it takes to have them leveled. I either have to dig or block up sets to get them leveled. If I use blocks, I make sure to screw them into the bottom of the corner posts or at least use a wooden stake (anchor) to anchor the set and the block at the same time.
Since it was built on top of grass have you had any issues with the structure staying level and square? Also would you recommend bringing up the grass to build it on dirt, then laying down the mulch? Ty in advance and great video
Super helpful video, really appreciate you sharing! Did you end up adding extra support to any element of the construction beyond what was included in the box? Would you recommend adding extra bolstering to support the weight of a 200 lb adult plus two children about the size of the ones in your video? Noticed during the assembly that it seemed to securely support your weight while installing the clubhouse, but I’ve seen some reviews saying that they heard creaking with a 130 lb person walking on it. Welcome any insight you may have as I’ve just ordered one of these sets and I know my kids will want me to join them in the upper clubhouse. Thanks in advance!
Thank you. I only used what's included in the package. The only thing I didn't like about this swing set is that the wood quality overall is very weak. I don't think extra support will help it much. I project it will last about 5-7 years the way it's been built. Thanks for watching.
I don't have an official update but to be honest I should have not bought it. The cedar boards are some low quality wood and all in all the product quality is bad. I should have bought some treated lumber and built it myself. It would have lasted a lifetime, had I done that.
How is holding up now, 3 years later? Price went up $1000 since you purchased. I'm looking for something sturdy to endure some years and with the quality of the wood, I have my doubt. Do your kids still like it?
I used GroundSmart Rubber Mulch, Cedar Red from Sam's Club. Later on I added some Vigoro rubber mulch from The Home Depot. They look exactly the same to me. Thanks for watching.
After getting a set similar to this with 293847473 screws I can tell you dads mood is the opposite of this music. As a dad you better get a goddamn paternity test to make sure that kid is actually yours before you go attempting to build one of these fucking monsters. I am on day one of mine with help from the gf and my caveat is my foundation is sloped so add a other wrench into the program. Good choice on the Ridgid tools, thats what platform i am on aside from a few Milwaukee m12 fuel tools.
@@NeverStopDIY Thanks for reply. I'm hoping organizing all the hardware into little storage tupperwares and having all wood and hardware grouped by step will help. We will be referencing your video. Thanks!

We got stuck at a few places building ours, your video was very helpful!

Thank you for this video. I checked it out repeatedly as I assembled it (slowly over several weeks).
I like this video, he's a dad like all good dad's, wants his kids to have a sweet playset. I'm next, gonna build my girl one soon! Right on man.
Thank you and good luck
Is not that easy
I really like the tunnel idea above the swings- good job.

Thanks for the step by step video. Most other videos about these swing sets are too short
You are welcome
Hi there. Would you be kind enough to tell me where I can order one of these and how much it cost? Thank you in advance.
I just found the information I asked further up. Thank you for providing all the details.

@@russh5317 Sounds good,. Thanks for the tip. :)
Thank you, I had to disassemble mine and wasn't sure how to tackle the bridge.
I'm about to begin assembly on the same playscape. I appreciate you posting the video. Thank you
No problem
Good job on the video this what we need to see more step by step videos not that speed videos
Thanks for watching
It’s crazy that this only takes 37 minutes to build. I can’t wait to purchase mine. I was afraid it would take a weekend to assemble.
Oh, it will take you more than a weekend :)
Great vid ! Where did you get the frames to setup the mulch perimeter?
Since it was built on top of grass have you had any issues with the structure staying level and square? Also would you recommend bringing up the grass to build it on dirt, then laying down the mulch? Ty in advance and great video
I have had no problems at all with the structure being built on grass. I would, however, recommend you lay it on top of treated 4×4 lumber.
Do we need support in the ground
Thank you for your service 👏
My pleasure :)
You did an awesome job!
Thank you for your kind words
I enjoyed the video and the music and just wanted to know if you used anything to help keep the mulch in place?
Thanks for watching. Yes I used a 4" tall plastic edging.
What is that you laid out under the mulch?

Does it seem sturdy enough to have an adult on there playing either the kid?
How many bags of mulch did you use?
Where i buy it & who fixed it and price is how much.
Did you added anything to drain water in case it rains?
Do you by chance have a 4 year update on this swing set? Was it worth the purchase?

How is it holding up? Thinking about getting one for my daughter.
It's been less than a year... It's doing ok. Nothing broke yet. :) Thanks for watching.
May I ask what mulch did you use please ?
I used GroundSmart Rubber Mulch, Cedar Red from Sam's Club. Later on I added some Vigoro rubber mulch from The Home Depot. They look exactly the same to me. Thanks for watching.
Do you think it would be better to sort all parts and hardware by step before starting or sort into groups by part number?
Yes, but they way they packed everything, it's practically impossible. Thanks for watching.

Sorry to hear that :(
What did you use to border the mulch area?
I used lawn edging. I recommend the 3 inch high edging. The one I installed is only 1 and half inches tall and it's not high enough.
Watch this and see if this is what you want to help someone do
How many hours do you think it would it take 3 or 4 people to build this?
3 skilled people could probably finish it in 1-2 days. There are a a lot of screws involved. That's the biggest problem

@@laurentodd1551 Good luck, and let us know how it turned out.
Did you have a problem with ants or spiders? If so can you tell me what you did. Thank you.
I did not have a problem like that. Sorry, I couldn't help.
Do you want to put mine together? :-)
Let me check my schedule :))
I just watched this be built in under an hour with an inexperienced builder, besides I build legos on the side
