crazy stumbling onto this video the day after my first CX race on this same frame and color option. I loved how it handled and has been my favorite build since i got it a little over a year ago. Congrats on the wins!
@@philrydes absolutely. mine spends its weekdays as my commuter so i have fenders, bottle cages, bar bag etc on it with some 32mm road tires.. and it rides so smooth. then just strip all that extra stuff off and toss some cx tires on it and it has very balanced weight and great geometry to be confident around some tight off camber turns. such a work horse. mine was built as a frameset so it does not have any of the oem parts that state sold with it so i dont have any experience with how it would feel stock but even so that price point was really good for a platform that could cheaply be upgraded as needed. i plan to use it in a local cx series next fall already planning on a few spare cog/chainring options, i already have a few tire options that should work just fine but will see about running them tubeless as i could tell i was struggling to keep traction on some faster turns at 40psi. 35-30 and any root would be a death sentence for my tube :/

Bret Mohler thanks! For a simple affordable bike it works really well.

Thanks to this video. Really can't decide what gearing ratio I'm going to use on my newly built single speed cyclocross/gravel bike.
You probably shouldn’t listen to me for gear ratios. I’m pretty terrible at picking them.
thank for the video
