I love how the whole concept for the Starry Night music video was “what if a girls trip to New Zealand served cunt.” Also I am so tempted to send you the orchestral version of Paint Me because I’m sure you’d love it but we still have to get through all the other albums before you can hear “I say Mamamoo: the best” without spoilers Also I had a thought when you were talking about how amazing it sounds when the girls harmonise with Moonbyul. She and Wheein once talked about how they pair so well together because their voices sound exactly like each other just pitched up or down. But I also feel like if you consider how different Hwasa and Solar are vocally, that Wheein is at that mid-point between them making it all flow. Like her tone and her high level of vocal technique are exactly what’s needed to let Solar and Hwasa go off in such different directions without holding back because she can make those voices connect no matter what song it is. Kind of makes me wonder if this is why it takes a lot of new fans a little longer to notice her, she’s doing so much and sounds so amazing, but she’s the equilibrium so unless you’re focusing on her or the song as a whole rather than the stand out moments, she kind of slips under the radar.

i think evwrytime they perform a new version of paint me it gets better and better, my fave ver of paint me was the live band ver from hwasa show
