Once Mary Poppins came on that was it... They were my favourite straight away and then as it went on it get better and better... Absolutely loved them! Im glad you liked all the other videos I have put on of previous years. Personally, I would say Southport are 100 times better. You have 7 displays over 1 weekend and it looks like all competitors are competing for the prize whereas Blackpool is 1 display every Friday in September and it just looks like a display rather than a competition. Also there aren't many speakers about to hear the music and the speakers don't give out the best audio quality. I'm regards to bigger and louder, it depends on the displays, they could be very similar but I think you could maybe stand closer to the action at Southport. That's my opinion and what I would suggest if you're local to these areas is to go to the first 3 Blackpool displays and don't go to their finale and go to the Southport ones. This year, they cancelled the Friday displays for Southport and moved them on to other nights so we headed to Blackpool quickly to try and catch them. Unfortunately we didn't get chance to get to a speaker to watch them to the music.
@@jordanmoore6943 aye iv been for past few years its superb isn't it. And I'm from halifax so about 50 mile away not too far. Will have to check out blackpool one weekend before southport sometime. I cant wait for southport again next year already! Aye we always go on Saturday because of having 3 displays instead of 2. Was super to have 4 displays this year was great. thanks again
