I'd love to see you react to San's performance video for Warrior by Imagine Dragons. It's an incredible piece of choreography and the video is fully focused on the dance and story!
Yes, their stage presence is insane and with all their main title tracks you would be fully energized hehe! Actually, they were never an official dance group, but before debut, they did release a few dance covers that became very popular! Before debut, they went to LA for a month and trained/learned from a lot of great choreographers, so that helped them to become such great dancers :) I think you could pick any Ateez dance practice and you would love it! But a few of my favorites are: Wonderland, Horizon, Guerrilla and Halazia.
The 'character' you enjoyed is Hongjoong! He is an amazing performer and such a character. He is, what we call, part of the Demon Line in Ateez :) Really enjoyed this reaction and I would love to hear your insights on their dance rehearsals!
I can't go too in detail about the lore because it gets confusing ahah but ateez concept is that they are pirates (hence the pirate ship hologram, you can see the pirate ship also in other music videos like Illusion, Thanxx and don't stop. they have references to Peter Pan and jack sparrow in their lyrics and they are "pirates" in a broad sense, meaning that in this MV and in Guerrilla MV they are fighting against a dictatorship government by being underground revolutionaries or outlaws like in Bouncy MV); also, the hourglass smashed at the end of the MV is the "Cromer" and ancient relic that they use to travel across dimensions, regulated by the phases of the moon (which makes sense because pirates use celestial navigation to sail) + you can see the moon changing in the MV

If you like that dance break at the end you should check out Halazia and Guerrilla, the ending dance sequence is NUTS
