This is the kind of design I really like, even if it was flat. I really love your colour choices, they always compliment each other. I dislike garish neon colours, chunky glitters and over the top huge bling on nails! Simple, elegant designs like these are more appealing to me.
Like I said before, I really do admire people that can do this on such a tiny scale like this, with or without shakes! I recently seen a video of a Russian nail artist who was literally painting an absolute masterpiece on a nail tip, like a teeny tiny oil painting! My jaw hit the floor!
Yeah, I seem to lean towards the more timeless, elegant designs, although I do like an occasional unconventional look. I'm glad you like the design! I'm in awe as well with those artists that can create mini paintings on their nails...I can only hope to aspire to that level of artistry.

With my current filming setup it's a little difficult to show doing my own nails, some angles just are too hard to film. I don't have a pro setup or some else to help me film but if I ever get an improved setup I'll show my own 🙂.

How beautiful! These are perfect wedding nails. You can also apply the decal first to a stamper then apply it to the nail. That way it helps with position, and cuts down on wrinkles.

I was going to ask the same question. I’m guessing it would. It just wouldn’t be 3D like hers.
Yes, it would just less 3D with a single layer. You could apply additional layers of the gel paint for a more 3D look.

Just beautiful. For your own nails, do you do the nails on the stand and then glue them on. Thanks.
Normally I do all my painting and artwork after I apply the nails but for this set I was testing out the Dashing Diva Nail Guards. I only wanted to wear these nails for a couple of days and the guards are supposed to allow for easy, no soak off removal with no damage. So I did paint this set ahead of time and glued them on.

I used Dashing Diva Fast Bond....it's a thicker gel super glue that holds great!

Hi there! I was just wondering which camera you use. I'm having trouble finding the right one for my videos. PS...I love your work!
Hi! I used my iPhone 7 plus...In the camera settings I had it set to film in 1080 60fps (default is 30fps) which results in crisper video quality, it's a storage hog but worth it. I have a new iPhone 12 that I'm going to try filming in 4k 60fps to see if it's really that noticeable.
One thing I would really stress is lighting...no matter how good your camera is, good lighting is key. I'm certainly no expert but I know what looks good for my filming set up...I have a medium sized 5000K daylight panel LED light to illuminate the center of my workspace and 2 small 5000K daylight panel light stands to illuminate from the right and left (all of these I got on Amazon for a very reasonable price)This, along with the recessed lighting (also 5000K daylight) in my nail room, is sufficient for bright, clear videos....your setup may have to be different. Hope that helps!

@@MySavageGirlNailDesigns I did try that, filming from a top view using my laptop as a monitor...I even bought the Arkon stand with tablet attachment but I found, for the way I do my painting, I got better upclose views by just using a small tripod to hold my phone (use the back camera...front facing camera does not have as good a resolution) so I can see the screen. I place the tripod slightly the left of my chest since I'm right handed and simply place my arms around the tripod. I just have to remind myself to check periodically that I'm still within frame while doing the design. This may not be optimal for some people but it works for me and I like that I can get really close for the detailed stuff. When I tried filming from a top view I found that the way I would hold the nail facing more towards me so I could see what I was doing meant the viewer couldn't see everything.
I hope that's not too confusing 😜.

Thanks Bonnie! Normally I have always painted after I apply the nails but for this mani I am doing an experiment using nail guards for a temporary application. So for this one I painted all the tips first and applied them like a press-on with nail glue over the nail guards.
@@tenlittlecanvases That makes a lot of sense to me. Especially since that is a lot of work for something that would otherwise just grow out and be filed off and lost forever.

Oops...not sure what went wrong...I redid the links and tested and they work now. Be advised, the patterns I used I could only find available on the original Czech site and shipping from there is very expensive. I did find a similar flourish pattern on the Canadian site, it's the first link.

Hmm...I suppose you could but it would have to be cured before applying on the nail and it might be little a difficult getting to lay flat on the nail.
