I stopped when they asked for my social security number when i tried to add a funding source. At your 1:07 screen. Mine was different. It asked for last 4 of social mandatory. I stopped that point. Too bad. Just creepy all these companies asking for that stuff
Agreed. Never give out your social. When Doctors ask for it I simply say "no", and when they want to scan a copy of my ID ..they get the same polite answer. I have never been denied service. Just be polite, explain that it's a privacy risk, and that your insurance information is all they need in order to bill you. I wish more people were determined about protecting their privacy. It would make it easier for all of us.
A lot of these banks don’t have any minimum account balances so you might just need something in there to open it. Make sure to read the rules for the bank that you’re trying to open an account for. Were you asking about a bank in particular?
Sorry, I just realized I answered your comment thinking this was for a different video that I made for online banking. I don’t know that you need a certain account balance in your bank in order to use Privacy. Depending on the way in which you link your account, privacy will make some small trial deposits to your bank account just to verify that account. Otherwise you just need to be sure that you have enough money in your bank account to cover any expense that you would make with the Privacy card. so if you’re trying to use the Privacy card for a $100 purchase, you should have more than $100 in your bank account to cover that purchase because transactions do clear relatively quickly
Chris Huerta cause it said that the connected bank’s balance must be at least $50 before I create a card. I wanna know if it has to be $50 at all times or only when I’m creating my first card
Oh interesting. I don’t know how Privacy would verify your accounts balance, to be fair. I also had a hard time finding that $50 balance on their website. I would create your card and see how it goes. However, I would highly recommend that you don’t spend more on the Privacy card that what’s in your account balance.
What happens if a card you created needs to be refunded?
