I'm liking it! You can email the company and they will give you a custom firmware that puts any image you want as the boot image. I just sent them the Big Rob's Van logo for mine!
Well, this would do it, but I wouldn't recommend swapping out the stereo just for a rear view camera. Amazon has some add on kits for around $40 that look pretty simple to install -- 12v power to the front and a wired camera to mount on the rear bumper. (amzn.to/3WzIt5x)
Great video. I have one very similar to yours but it will only connect to one phone from Bluetooth. It would allow connection to another phone, what could be the problem?
Sorry, the manual doesn't say how much RAM it has. I don't think it has any accessible storage. Any audio or video content needs to be on a USB stick or streamed to the device.
@@user-sf1lr8pv4h I am using an external mic that I bought off of Amazon for about $10. You can see it in this other stereo review I did: ua-cam.com/video/QkF7dkaVQTM/v-deo.html
With a solid phone connection I didn't experience any lag or buffering, but when my connection speed drops, I have seen some choppiness. Mirroring involves pushing a lot of data. The units that allow USB connections between the phone and the unit are less convenient, but seem handle mirroring better. Recently I learned that not all USB cables are the same and I've upgraded replaced a lot of my older ones with newer ones from Amazon.
I'll be 100% honest -- I have no idea. If your clock is in a different position than mine I suspect we may have different firmware versions. AFAIK there is no way to move it around.
Looks super sweet!

Awesome setup, trying to figure out how to put a rear view camera in my old 2006 sprinter.

@@bigrobsvan thanks, going to check that out.

I have a pair of headphones like that, that will only connect to one device. It's so annoying, I wonder why they limit them like that?
3monthw later... how is it?
I still have it installed and it's still working great! It's a little finicky about which USB sticks it'll read, but other than that, no problems.
How much GB of RAM and Storage does this device have on board?

@@bigrobsvan Thanks, I've always had name brand head units and I'm was kind of leery of these brands on rather I want to pull the trigger and buy one
@@bigrobsvan Do you have an external mic connected to that radio or you using your cell phone internal mic?

Did your mirror link lag in UA-cam?
