Yes it has. The market has actually been moved back to the original 3rd avenue location which is the best location in my opinion. Thanks for watching and commenting and I hope you have a wonderful visit.
Thanks for viewing and commenting. The move to the Dimond Center was a result of the pandemic. It was no longer economically feasible to hold the event downtown with the diminishing amount of vendors according to the event coordinators. It still hasn’t grown to it’s original size which is a sad thing as this was such a big drawn in for tourists as well as locals.
@Master Play Thanks for your response. I totally agree with you. It was such a huge draw for tourists. Downtown would be lined with tour busses and the market would be jammed packed. Locals would also frequent the market because it was just a fun weekend thing to do.
It really is a nice little market with local vendors selling their unique creations. The market was a bigger one that was situated in downtown Anchorage which was a big tourist destination. As far as pricey, yes, some of the stuff can be a bit pricey for sure. Thanks for commenting and watching. 5:03
Very nice video! We'll be visiting this weekend. Has it grown much since this video?

@@alaskanadventurers6926 I think it'll grow as Summer begins to Set in. I remember when it used to be in the parking lot next to Olive Garden.
Reindeer??
@@beemonique8466 Not sure what your question about Reindeer is??
Great market!
It truly is a great market. It’s a great opportunity for our local folks to showcase their homemade products and goods to both locals and tourists.

Looks like a very prearranged, professional market without people just coming to sell whatever they like. Probably pricey as well.
