Always love to see the catch n cook James! I'd suggest marinating fish eggs in wine, salt and pepper before cooking to reduce the fishy taste.

James, with salmonid roe, they are best separated into individual eggs, and cured with a variety of brine (soy sauce, mirin, or simply salted water etc). They are best served on a piece of buttered bread, or on a bowl of steaming hot rice.

@@cyprixzz every jig works better in different situations however can’t go wrong with red foil. I generally find brighter jigs when its sunny and darker jigs in overcast conditions and at night, however all jigs glow in the dark
