    Great job I'm like the biggest fan of indiana jones ever and a couple of years ago found out I could meet the actors if I stayed around a bit after and I was in a full costume they autographed my hat and indy gave me his gloves and said these should complete the costume that was the greatest day of my life

      That's an awesome story! I kept several sets of my gloves as they were needing to be retired. I kept my first show gloves, broken nose gloves, last show gloves and a couple in between....lol.

    Congrats on playing Indy.
    I actually got to be one of the extras the casting director picks out of the crowd in a show back in 2005.

      Wicked Lenser i read a lot about vaudeville and am currently in taekwondo. The plan was to audition for the ringling circus and get my clown stripes but it fell through. I definitely would love to move out to orlando and learn more (if it’s still possible) I recall even a school outside of orlando I was looking at. More than anything I’m getting into shape (40 down 20 to go). I’m in my mid 20s now and I kick myself in the pants I didn’t start earlier lol

    Would be cool to see some footage of the shows before Waterworld

      Rolland, I've got tons of the Vice show on video! Unfortunately, none of the A-Team show. I was pretty young when that show opened up and I didn't have a video camera yet. I did see it though!

      @@wlenser cool that you've got a bunch of Vice Stunt footage, and yeah, the A Team Show was quite old, coming out in 85 I believe, so I could understand if there's no footage of it. There is a 15 second vid of very good quality footage on youtube but that seems about it. Always wondered what the story was behind that A Team show was though, looked crazy.

      Haha, thanks. I auditioned for the Miami Vice show once I was confident in my abilities but for a Smuggler part. They said I still looked too young. I wasn't really up to speed on Jet Skis or I would have tried Crockett.

    • @rollandtrann679
      @rollandtrann679 4 роки тому

      @@wlenser Ah, I see, yeah, riding a stand up Jet Ski in a stunt show like that looked quite hard.

    • @wlenser
      @wlenser  4 роки тому

      @@rollandtrann679 ..I don't think the Tubb's part had to be as experienced with The Jet skis, I think that happened a bit. I had a good friend during the last couple years of the show who played Crockett and the Diving Smuggler.

    • @rollandtrann679
      @rollandtrann679 4 роки тому

      @@wlenser Well from my view of the show, the proper way I think Tubb's jet ski part is to go around a bit with Crockett while he's being shot and the gun airshots are going off and get caught by the Diving Smuggler and I believe held hostage by another Smuggler which then the Diving Smuggler chases Crockett on the stolen jet ski and the Diving Smuggler falls off into the water. Though I saw a vid where Tubb's fell off before they got out of the Jet Ski area

    • @wlenser
      @wlenser  4 роки тому

      @@rollandtrann679 yes, that is the intended sequence...lol. The smuggler now chasing Crockett is then blown off his jet ski accidentally by the smuggler in the little white break-away boat.

    These vids are very motivational indeed. In the same boat of being inspired by these shows and determined to get in on em
    The last audition Kevin and Robert said I've got great potential but casting is tricky as I'm slighly too tall and not crazy bulky enough, but I'll keep trying and rewatching your videos as lessons in the meantime. So thanks for the uploads!

    • @wlenser
      @wlenser  6 років тому +1

      Caleb Miller ....Caleb, just keep doing what you're doing. Keep showing up to that audition. It was five or six auditions for different shows before I landed anything. In between just keep working on your skills . Is that Kevin Brassard and Robert Herrick you were referring to at the audition? If that's the Kevin, he's been there from the beginning and trained me when I was there.

    Hey man love your channel/content regarding the Indiana Jones show.....
    Love the show to this day even got to be an extra finally......this was the last show I was able to be chosen for
    If you remember the Backlot Tour boat and wheelhouse you could be chosen for that.
    Anyway...wanted to know if you could do a video: bullwhip tutorial for those who love Indiana Jones
    Where and what kind of whip should one purchase that they used in the film
    See I am a Cosplayer and have dressed as Indy and it wouldn't be complete without knowing his signature whip routines
    Have you visited Hollywood Studios recently and does anyone still recognize you as having done the show.
    Would you ever return to work in the show in another capacity.
    Thanks
    Once again an awesome Indiana Jones

      I can't believe I didn't catch your comment 2 YEARS AGO...lol.
      Glad you like the Indy stuff! Not sure about doing a whip tutorial, there are much better whip handlers out there than me :) The whips like in the film or the live show, at least when I was there were Kangaroo hide 16 Plait whips anywhere from 8-10ft long. The Plaits are how many strands are woven together. The more, the smoother and more snake like it is. These are on the expensive side though. I had picked up a 12 plait 8 ft cow hide whip on ebay and it does the trick for about $100. Last time I visited the show was back in 2007. There were cast members there I had worked with in 1994-95 and some that still do to this day.

    The guy who gets punched by the woman and flips on his head, how did they train for that?

    • @wlenser
      @wlenser  6 років тому +2

      ....all of the "bad guy" parts, except the Mechanic/Swordsman are experienced gymnasts or as we call them tumblers and hired as such. The head roll comes very easy to most of them. I got to do that part myself a few times but would cheat and use my hands instead of just rolling on my head. I wasn't as comfortable doing it.
