But why are the rooms and entrances sealed at various places in the Taj Mahal? What is the reason behind it?
to preserve it. Some rooms are way too old to sustain visitors. So probably to not get any type of damage on them?
I think these secret doors rooms & ways were used in emergency in old times for safety purpose.
Now for public safety purpose these ways & doors are closed & locked
Actually there is nothing for visitors in it and they are like 400 years old so they are sealed so they are sealed so normal people don't damage them and they are fragile and the Real Tomb of shah jahan and Mumtaz are underground in which normal visitors are not allowed because it is so down in the ground that people have breathing issues there (some asthma patients can die there)

I want to share that before tajmahal it was just very big shiv temple so for sake of basement temple was destroyed then on platform of temple. Shahjahan made 22 rooms to lead his old age in these 22 rooms with his family and his dead wife.

UA-camr misguided us, no where these 22 rooms are opened, non of Indian any Government have gut to open these rooms till today. Taj mahal or Tejo mahal is built on Shiva temple.
These are old photos. The 22 rooms were opened for renovation recently. Two photos are already released and published in news papers.
But the pics in this video are atleast 50 to 75 years old.
