Had a friend from school who passed away from an accidental situation at 21. Full of life, great guy, humble, nice dude. Can't really put into words how devastated and defeated his parents were. Life is a special gift that many take for granted. It can be taken from you in a heartbeat. Reality is, if you're in a first world country, there are billions of people on this planet who would trade places with you in a heartbeat. Appreciate what you have, be grateful for where you are, and always strive for more. You're only on this planet once - make the most of it while you're here.

And then you have the same Young people Who are literally destroying themselves with drugs, smoking and what not and they Will go on to live 70 years. Life IS life

The ones that are alive and still partying are living just horrible lonely lives, Not married cause no woman will put up w them and never got good career cause they were partying too much,

When my dad died it changed me. I was raised to earn everything by my mom. She was more successful than my dad. My dad spent freely and gave freely. I saw his struggles. This created something in me that just could not give my money or my things away. I could be generous in other ways, but not with money. Him dieing changed this. I don't give endlessly, but now there's more of a balance. I still struggle with it, but I give.

Heroin increase is only thing I know of. When I was teen nobody used heroin. Wasn’t available. Now it’s everywhere. So many heroin deaths
